Default Roasting frozen vegetables?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone does this? I read online that it is possible, but just curious. I have some frozen brussel sprouts and cauliflower. I will eat them either way, but roasted is so yummy!

Thanks

Roasted veggies turn out best when they started as dry as possible; extra water makes them more mushy than toasty. So I doubt you would get the best results using frozen, since they already have extra water. But I suppose worth a try if you don't really care.

The brussel sprouts worked out great! I will try the cauliflower for dinner. Thanks so much for the link!

I always roast my veggies from frozen and they come out great and yummy! Usually I just make sure to use a hotter oven (425) and a bit longer time (20 to 25 minutes, depending on the veggie).

Good luck - it's fun to experiment!
