Default New here! Mutual support.

Hi!

I lost 15 kg (33pounds) last year using a strict, low-carb, portion-controlled food plan. Basically, I ate measured amounts of yogurt, fruit, meat, fish, eggs, and non-starchy vegetables. But then in August, I went away for six weeks and mostly ate whatever I wanted, with some portion-contolled meals. I gained 1.6 kg and on my return home, found it hard to get back on plan. Also, I was getting so many compliments and looked and felt soooo much better that I forgot I was still overweight! I got a reminder when I stepped on the scale and saw that I had gained another 3.8 kg between November 2015 and January. This is my 4th day back on plan and I still have 10kg to get to my comfortable weight of 62 kg. My first goal is 67 kg.

I'm here because I think it will be easier to do this with some accountability and with other people facing the same challenges.

We can do this!

You are so right Mickiann. It's great that you sought like minded people who are really interested in watching you shed your 10kg. You already know all about the right foods so you are set and like you said - We can do this!

Something similar happened to me last year. I lost 30 lbs, then I got hurt and gained it all back.
I am starting over from a higher weight now, and I hope to lose over 100 lbs.
Nice to meet you .
