Default Medifast Forum Discontinued

It's official - the medifast community forum has been discontinued. Hopefully my medifast friends will join me here. Hope to hear from you soon.

Just curious, did Medifast officials say why they discontinued the Forums? Weren't they well-used?

Wow! That's terrible. Community support was a huge factor in my success with Medifast.

Now that I'm back on plan I still need the support. I found a Facebook group and also here. I love having a ticker and a profile and getting to know other people going through the same feelings.

They also closed the shops in San Antonio Tx. They are not making the income to keep them open. They are promoting Take Shape For Life

Well - I think I am going to keep posting on both sites - so hopefully you won't have to read my stuff too many times...

Besides - any and all encouragement and support are welcome.

I was going to say the same.

I have been doing low carb the past year, and then did Nutrisystem until I ran out of $$....

and then I have tried WW since Christmas, but the site is hard to use and
I get confused about what to eat.

Back to packaged foods. I remembered that when nI did MediFast I was
never hungry, and I really enjoyed the forums......

And they are gone. How assinine!
Nutrisystem did the same, and a lot of people quit.

What is wrong with these companies? The support and help from
members is so helpful, and almost KEY for me!

I will look for the FB group and decide if MediFast will work.
I have been up and down for months and hate it. My highest, 220, was just last week (the 226 was over a year ago) and now at 213, I am scared that
it will pop back up.

I am feeling desperate!

My husband talked me into trying the Cabbage Soup Diet this weekend. Now grant you I was doing fine on Medifast, but I went along with it for him. So I spent Sunday starving and told him Monday morning it was back to Medifast for me... I wasn't going to be hungry all week.

Lol, I was wondering about the Cabbage Soup diet.
But actually, the soup in Kirstie Alley's diet (Organic Liaison) was
good and very filling. I might have to dig out the recipe.

My DH claimed I ate 10 bowls of soup on Sunday along with all the fruit. I think maybe 6 bowls, but I was still starving. The soup was good - it just wasn't lasting. And since it is all vegetables, I could probably have it for my green if I choose to do that.

When I first lost weight with Medifast almost 6 years ago, the forums were a lifesaver! I'm sad to hear it's gone.
