Thumbs up November Exercise Challenge

Let's give thanks for all that our bodies do for us and give a little back with exercise that makes us healthy and strong!

State your exercise goal and track it throughout the month with this supportive group of fellow exercisers. We'll compile our workout goals into a list. As each goal is met during the month, it gets turned RED in celebration.

Back of the closet goal: exercise 4X/ week
Back of the underwear drawer goal: 5X/week

1. Complete Week 9 of C25K program.
2. Run a 5K on Nov. 7.
3. Run a 5K on Nov. 21.
4. After C25K is complete, begin running 4 days/week.

Nov 14 45 min Classical Stretch (2 episodes)
Nov 15 40 min walk
Nov 20 30 min walk
Nov 21 70 min tai chi; 20 min classical stretch (am); 45 min walk (pm)
Nov 22 50 min walk (am); 20 min classical stretch
Nov 23 40 min walk (am); 30 min walk (pm)
GOAL MET
Bonus goal: additional 100 min for a total of 800

Nov 29 20 min classical stretch (am); 35 min walk/jog (pm)

Just getting back on my diet after being off of it for 7 months and gaining about 30 pounds!

Goal for the month: Work out at least 4 days a week, every week but Thanksgiving. Work out 2 days the week of Thanksgiving.

Yoga/stretches 3x wk, strength 3x wk, cardio 6x wk
First have to finish up my Sept. goal complete week 12

Week 15 - complete
10/28- cardio, 33 min 7 miles ex. bike, yoga
10/29- strength
10/30- cardio, jog 27
10/31-off
11/1-cardio, 4 miles at rail trail
11/2- yoga, strength, cardio walk at work and walk 1 mile with dog
11/3-off-birthday, walked around with my MIL, no regular exercise
11/4-cardio rail trail 3 miles with DH
11/5-yoga, weights
Yoga-3x, strength-3x, cardio 5x, ok 1 more day, get that last cardio in
11/6-cardio rail trail 4 miles

My exercise goal for Nov is to workout 4 times a week. This time of the year is always a challenge for me when it gets dark before I get home in the evening.

This is going to be the year I keep it going. I'll have to focus more on doing DVDs instead of walking. Yesterday I pulled out a system that I've had for over 2 years and never took it out of they box. To my surprise, I loved it so I'll be doing it for a while

Got in 2 miles on the treadmill and 4.5 miles on the bike.

Add on a BUNCH of housework and I think I'm covered for the day!
