Can we talk Phase 2/OWL?
I'm curious as to when/how you made the decision to increase carbs?
I'm very conflicted about this. I've read in some places that it's a good idea to stay in induction until your 15lbs from your goal weight. I've read in others that if you stay in induction and hit a plateau (which is likely to happen) you won't have anywhere to go in terms of lowering carbs...
Atkins also has a new plan: Atkins 40 where you start at 40grams of carb per day because that is thought to be low enough to stay in ketosis (for most people). Which makes me wonder if staying at 20 for too long makes you overly sensitive to carbs?
To further confuse me, I've noticed that anytime I eat too many carbs and expect a gain, I typically lose the next day. Is it possible that eating too few carbs will stall things?
What has been your experience?
