Default Lazy Low Calorie Meal

I am very lazy so I wanted to share this recipe/idea with other calorie counters who get tired of preparing meals all of the time. Slow cooker liners will save you clean up too!

In a slow cooker add:

8oz of chicken breast = 248 Cal.
Dash of pepper.
30 Baby Carrots = 120 Cal.
2 Cups Green Beans = 88 Cal.
8 TBS Kraft Free Zesty Italian Fat Free Dressing = 120 Cal.
1/2 Cup Chicken Broth = 5 Cal

Cook per slow cooker directions; I cook mine on low 10 - 12 hours.

Divide in half; each serving is approx. 291 calories depending on what brand of dressing and broth you us. This is very filling and flavorful.

This sounds really good. I'm usually not a big veggie fan, but I do like carrots and green beans! Thanks!

I'd suggest tripling or quadrupling this and freezing it in portions for lazy days with calorie counts on it. Cook once and eat many times!

I freeze EVERYTHING. I make burritos, nuggets, burgers, stews, chilis, soups, stuffed peppers, curries, etc. I don't like to cook during the week, but I want to make sure that we all have complete meals (low calorie, lean protein, 50% vegetable) to eat at any time.

This might be less calories per serving? I entered it into MFP, and 8 TBSP of Kraft Zesty Italian FF was only 60 calories. (Obviously, the database could be wrong and I'm not at home to check my bottle.)
