Unhappy why and I so whoozy??/

I have been on IP for 6 weeks now, I do love it! I have lost a total of 25lbs! which I am so proud of myself for, but here is my question? I have been feeling "whoozie", I am due for my TOM but I think with the change in season and maybe this IP it is changing on me.

could the IP have anything to do with this feeling? or my TOM? I am following phase I to a tee...

PLEASE HELP!

I am 8.5 weeks in and find I occasionally forget to get my salt supplements in for the day and that in turn can cause some light-headedness. I usually feel better after a 1/4t of salt and glass of cold water.

It hasn't happened for a while but in the first few months of IP I would get whoozy. I would sometimes stand up and get extremely light headed/dizzy for a few seconds. But it would go as quickly as it came so..I think that's just normal. My mom experienced the same thing. Do you have it for an extended period of time? If so you might want to ask your coach. I like Beth's idea about the salt as that could definitely be the case...my grandmother was too low on sodium one time while I was visiting and it caused her to completely pass out (she actually collapsed trying to walk to the bathroom) and it was all because of not enough salt! So being low on salt could definitely be the culprit.

I had the same wooziness on standing or moving around quickly in the early days. It can be low blood pressure and/or too little sodium (salt). I fixed mine by increasing the salt intake and increasing the water by an extra glass.

Try the non-tequila slammer trick. A dab of salt on the back of your hand with a tiny squirt of lime/lemon juice (the Real Lime lemon or lime squeezy bottles are handy) to help with that nasty salty flavour in your mouth.

My kids think I am absolutely disgusting - I just pour a 1/4t (or close enough) in the palm of my hand, lick, chase lol

Now the Mortons No Salt I use for extra potassium - I have to mix that in a tbsp of hot water

RE: the nasty salt taste in the mouth, lol.
I actually love the taste of salt on its own (the regular box salt is disgusting though) although I almost never put it on my food except for HB eggs and avocados. Every once in a while I grind a bit into my palm (I have Himalayan Pink, and Alder Smoked Sea Salt Crystals, and Sea Salt with Lavender flowers & Lemon rind in it) and crunch it up. Yummy!

As you can tell, my nemesis is salty fatty snacks like tortilla chips and old cheddar. All my go-to drinks are sour and salty or smoky (Greyhound, Lime Margarita with extra salt in it, sipping tequila reposado, aged scotch on the rocks, dry red wines with smoky leather overtones).

For me the wooziness means I need to eat. I had a period where it was so bad when I was 5 months in and I was stressed and near my TOM. I had to eat more often and add in a bar.
