Default New size!!

All my pants are getting baggy so today I went shopping on my lunch to buy a cheap pair or two of the next size down so I don't always feel like I have a baggy ***. I was able to buy 2 sizes down. Now an 18 instead of a 22. Gosh darn that feels good!!!

I must admit, I've been wearing my new smaller jeans all night and while I am thrilled they are 2 sizes smaller I kinda feel like I might miss my baggy bigger jeans. In my old jeans, because they were too big I felt like I had lost weight. I know, it's silly but now that I have proper fitting jeans i don't have that constant reminder. Guess I'll just have to keep it up and get these new jeans too big too. Lol

I totally understand what you mean.. I went from size eighteen to fifteen and after I brought them home, all excited, I just couldn't wear them. Something mentally in me just held me back. It took me days just to put the pants on, keep them on, and walk out the door. I kept running back to the baggy, falling off pants because I couldn't see myself in the smaller size.

But you can do it!!! I did eventually, and the more I wear them, the more comfortable they are. Its like breaking in new shoes.

I'm so glad I found this forum. It's so nice to have people who understand all my crazy thoughts. All my good friends are super supportive by they are all skinny stick figures so they have no idea of the struggles of being overweight. My greatest joy and ultimate accomplishment will be the day I can go shopping with them and buy clothes from the same stores they do.

Thumbs up

Congratulations! That is sucha thrill to get to a lower size. As I make my way down, I'm buying clothes at Goodwill for the interim, and have been shocked at the great quality of jeans I find. Once I bought five new-looking pair for around $20!
