Morning all. I was just now reading yesterday's posts and saw the one about alt supplements. I followed the link to the post and read that Briael uses the same cal/mag that I am using. I however, have been taking the required 2 at dinner and 2 at snack. Is anyone else using Nature Made cal/mag? If so, what dose do you use?
Did anyone get an opportunity to see the blood moon this a.m.? Maybe something to do with TOM issues????

I got my walden farms package in. They don't sell it in any of the stores around here so I buy on line. I was wondering, how many pancakes does the pancake package make? Do they taste good? Can I make a waffle from it? Got one in my starter kit and have been curious.

Thank-you so much for reminding to look at the moon! I completely forgot there was a total lunar eclipse and thanks to you, I did get to see the last few minutes and take a picture!

Good morning all,

After a month on IP I have noticed that my sleep has been terrible - all out of whack. I can't seem to stay asleep for more than a couple of hours, which is not great. Anyone else experienced this?

Good Morning!! I did not get up to see the moon although, I'm not sure we would have been able to see it anyway, it was really foggy out...

I have a hair apt after work today and am thinking about doing something "different" with my hair. I'd like to keep the length but I think I'd like to change the color. It's blonde now (umm I cover the grey!!) and have been blonde pretty much all my life, but I'm feeling washed out lately. I think i'd like to go darker in the back (underneath) and add low lites. Just thinking out loud! Maybe my hair stylist will have some suggestions. He's been doing my hair for six years now. I guess the weight loss is making me want to change things up?

Busy day ahead of me. I am conducting orientation this week for the new hires. BORING! I have to make 8 hours of material last 16 hours, state regulations, which is stupid. As long as they are getting all of the material what does it matter how long it takes? I have two people in my class this week, obviously two people are going to go through the material a lot faster than say a group of 10 people. The big boss is here today too, so I have to make it last the full 8 hours. UGH.

Well, have a great day everyone!!

Unfortunately, the WF pancake mix is NOT compatible with the Ideal Protein plan. You can use the WF sauces/dressings because they are 0 fat, 0 carb, 0 sugar condiments.

Are you talking about a pancake mix from another brand? If it's Proti-Diet, Health Wise/Health Smart, Weight Loss Systems - those pancake mix packets are IP compatible and one packet usually makes one decent-sized pancake.

Happy Hump Day!

I haven't been able to get on as much this week, our internet is out so I can only get online at work. Reboot is going pretty well, losses are a bit slower than they were the first time but still faster than anything else! I am at that "in between sizes" phase right now....12's are loose but 10's are still a little too tight - no complaints there, I know I'll slip into the 10's before too long

NSV for today is that I had to belt my brown size 12 dress pants because they kept slipping off my hips! This pair of pants was shoved into the back of a drawer because the last time I wore them, they pinched my tummy pretty bad and my thighs looked like sausages

Hope everyone has a fantastic day!

I was talking about the IP pancake mix. I got the WF syrup to try on it. Sorry, I guess I didn't explain enough.

No worries! The IP packets generally also make one decent sized pancake - the trick with the pancakes is to cook them on medium-low heat and watch them carefully so they don't get too tough.

I have a friend that has been very successful with IP; which has really gotten me excited to start. My question is that I have been reading these posts for the last couple hours and haven't found or have missed what to do about the IP packets. You need several a day and I am wanting to do the alternative way to IP. Do I still need to purchase them; if so, where? or is there a way to start without them. Thanks so much!!

Lucy: I am still having trouble "staying" asleep even though I am in maintenance.
At least I go back to sleep fast---I have been having thyroid problems again, though.

Welcome!

If you want to follow the Ideal Protein plan with the "official" IP products, they are only available through a coach that administers the program.

Many of us follow the IP plan using "alternative" (off-brand) products - the IP protocol sheets (that tell you what you can and can't eat, and how to structure your meals) are located on the last page of the FAQ sitcky post at the top of the forum. And there are extensive threads on Alternative products - here is the most recent one:

Morning All,
I started my new position at work on Monday. I am hoping it gets better. I've been working with these same people for 7 years. My new job is more hours with less responsibility ( weird). Basically doing a similar job at a different location. One of the ladies seems to think it is her responsibility to point out to me all morning what she thinks I shoukld be doing. She has nothing to do with my position and needs to learn to shut her mouth. I have been there 7 years she has been there two. It is a true challenge for me to keep my mouth shut when she says things.

NVS for me, all of my clothes are literally hanging off of me. I need to buy new clothes. These are all clothes that I wore three years ago when I was at my thinnist of my adult life. It is so strange when I see myself in my full length mirror. My brain has not caught up with the scale.

Off to work, have a great Hump day!!!!
