I thought Marnie was the last to post but as I started the new thread I noticed that Glenda (lovely to 'see' you) andPeggy also posted.
Will go back and have a read and come back and post here a bit later in the day.

Hi all - wanted to share this with you all! :comp:
Ladies / Real Women
By the time you find greener pastures, you can't climb the fence!
Tips for ladies and real women...
Ladies - if you accidentally over salt a dish while it's still
cooking, drop in a peeled potato and it will absorb the excess salt.
Real Women - if you over salt a dish while you are cooking, that's
Too damn bad. please recite with me, the real women's motto:
"I made it and you will eat it and I don't care how bad it tastes !!"
Ladies-cure for headaches- take a lime, cut it in half and rub it on your forehead. The throbbing will go away.
Real Women-take a lime, mix it with tequila, chill and drink. you might still have the headache, but who cares?
Ladies-stuff a miniature marshmallow in the bottom of a sugarcone
To prevent ice cream drips.
Real Women-just suck the ice cream out of the bottom of the cone, for Pete’s sake. you are probably lying on the couch, with your feet up, eating it anyway.
Ladies-to keep potatoes from budding, place an apple in the bag with the potatoes.
Real Women-buy boxed mashed potato mix and keep it in the pantry for up to a year.
Ladies-when a cake recipe calls for flouring the baking pan, use a bit of the dry cake mix instead and there won't be any white mess on the outside of the cake.
Real Women-go to the bakery-they'll even decorate it for you.
Ladies-brush some beaten egg whites over piecrust before baking, to yield a beautiful glossy finish.
Real Women - Sara Lee frozen pie directions do not include brushing egg whites over the crust, so just don't do it !
Ladies - if you have a problem opening jars, try using latex dishwashing gloves. they give a non-slip grip that makes opening jars easy.
Real Women-go ask the very cute neighbor guy to do it.
and finally the most important tip...........
Ladies-don't throw out all that leftover wine. Freeze into cubes for future use in casseroles and sauces.
Real Women-leftover wine ??!!
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail......but, a true friend will be sitting next to you saying, "damn, wasn't that fun !!"
Sorry for taking up so much room. Can we e-mail stuff to the group?

G'day all,
At last a bit of time to post!!:cp:
We had a lovely time in Melbourne with our dd and her dh. We left again at 5 am and with us sharing the driving, we were back in Adelaide at 2.30 pm. The minute we walked in we received a phone call from dh's sister, dh's father had been taken to hospital and can we go and get some stuff for him and take it to the hospital. F-i-l is 90 and he has had a bad cough, we assumed it may have been pneumonia but it seems that one of his kidneys have packed up:(
Next day I saw my doctor who told me that all tests so far have proven that everything is OK and she thinks I have 'mild' fibromyalgia. She told me to keep a diary, do yoga and she also said that accupuncture can be very helpful. I go back again in 3 months time. The most helpful thing has been a fibromyalgia website. At least no deadly disease was found in all the tests:D
My sister (the pain;) ) asked me if I would do a collage for an aunti in Holland for her 90th birthday. She is going over for the birthday as she is her godchild. My eldest sister did a lovely poem, she is very talented that way and the collage turned out great. Sister (the pain) only made a few criticisms :mag: but said NOTHING positive about the collage or the poem. It must be awful to be so negative and not being able to acknowledge that some people actually can do things better than you can.
The place where I had it printed asked me if I would hang one in their shop and they would refer customers to me, I do the collage and they do the printing, sounds a good deal.
We are also still working on our front garden and yesterday planted a weeping mulburry tree. I wanted a fairly well established tree and we 'found' a beauty for $125.00. Now that we planted it, it is not half as big as I thought it was:shrug: , it will look lovely once spring comes and it starts to sprout.
I also bought 4 rose bushes and they are planted.
We have had some very cold weather but during the day it is quite pleasant.
Of course now I have forgotten what everyone else talked of on the previous thread:fr:
Thank you Marnie for sharing, so true;)
Everyone else, hope you are well and happy, hope the birthday 'gal';) got over the celebrations!
Cheers

Hi Everybody :grouphug:
I had a wonderful birthday "week". On Monday I went out to lunch with a friend whose husband has cancer and for a change I sat quietly and let someone else do the talking. Because of her husband's illness, of course her life has drastically changed too
On Tuesday, tea time was at my friend the nurse's home and although the weather did not co-operate and we had to have it indoors, it was just great. :gift: I received lovely gifts from the gals, and we had lots of nice treats to eat ( Trudy brought one of my favorties, a lemon slice. My birthday cake was a "Carrot Cake" another of my favs. ;) YIKES......no wonder I have a weight problem. :o
On Wednesday I went out shopping and for lunch again and got another nice gift. Thursday, I went golfing with the same gal I saw on Wednesday. The GOOD news was I had a wonderful time, and the bad news was I had 75 (and that was for 9 HOLES).
I was very honest and counted every stroke whether my club came in contact with the ball or not....:D
On Thursday evening my family came over and we ordered in pizza, salad and they had an ice cream cake for me. DH gave up trying to think of something to give me, so I got a nice card that had a fair amount of cash in it and was told to buy myself something that I would like to have. My son/dil gave me a digital camera and a microphone for my computer. I loved the mic but I decided I would likely NEVER use the camera as I just am not interested in taking pictures or printing them up on the computer. I explained (very gently to them, that I loved the idea but felt I would not spend the time learning to use it). They understood and were not hurt. The mic on the other hand I loved and have already sent out several voice emails.
On Friday my brother treated us to dinner in honor of my birthday. I guess you gals might have "noticed" that there was a lot of eating going on. Time to settle down and get to the business of losing weight. We are going away this winter so that is a added incentive for me to lose weight.
Thanks to all of you for the birthday wishes. Marnie for someone who only a very short time ago didn't know how to use color etc you almost designed a complete birthday card. Glenda it sure was nice seeing you here again. Congrats on the great 6 mo check up. :cb: how wonderful that is. You and me kid, we will concentrate on getting to goal weight. Peggy , any reason why you have chosen not to go into any craft shows this year?? Karen congrats to you on winning the WW awards....good for you! Maria looks like your life is busy. I hope you are feeling better. It's funny how HUGE trees look at the nursery and then you get them home and planted and somehow seem to shrink. Lily you seem to be very busy too, but I guess mostly at your job. Are you planning another holiday this year? Ann it's going to be so nice for you to have your dd home for awhile. She could maybe sit at the edge of the pool and jost put her feet in the water. Nancy hi, what's new with you, how is your weight loss program coming?
Well gang, I think I took up more then my share of this thread :s:
talk to you all later.

G'day all,
Lovely to read all about your birthday week Slavika, sounds like you had a fantastic time. I am disappointed you decided not to use the digital camera you were given, it really is easy but I guess you know best if you would make use of it or not.
You will have a good incentive to get rid of the extra few ;) pounds knowing you will be going away on holidays this winter.
It looks like we might be home for at least a few months, I am finding it very hard to get back into the swing of shopping and cooking as if I would never go away again:dizzy:
On Friday we treated ourselves to buying a very fancy b-b-q, it is stainless steel and its the type with a hood so I can do roasts etc. We have a small backyard and it is difficult to 'hide' a b-b-q, now there is no need for it to be hidden as it looks rather nice.
My sister was keen to have our old b-b-q so we took it out to her place yesterday with a few other bits and pieces that were cluttering my place. She runs a bit of a nursery from her home and has a huge backyard with 100001 plants . For my newly designed front garden I wanted some English Box plants to create a little hedge so I bought 60 English Box plants, some lavender plants, some lilies and she insisted I have a couple of poppies. She said they were the illegal type (opium poppies) but the flower is bright red and just spectacular. Could come in handy if my aches and pains get much worse :D:s:
So it is out in the garden for us today :)
We will try out our new b-b-q for dinner tonight. I will roast a small fillet of lamb.
I look forward to a very productive day, the forecast for the rest of the week is not good, it will be nice to observe the weather from inside smugly knowing all my new plants are planted and are enjoying the rain.:)
Hope everyone is having a good weekend,
Cheers

Slavika: Wow What a week for you! Fun filled and lots of friends! Thats what birthdays are about! Glad you had a great time! No real big holiday plans here. We are thinking of camping :( (not my most favorite thing to do) But going to Yosemite
http://www.yosemitepark.com/
Its 2 hours away. I have lived here for 15 years and have never been
Always wanted to go.
Maria: Oh... a BBQ. You will love it! We use ours all the time. Really nice in the summer when its hot. Also great in the winter to. You can do anything in it. We have done pizzas before to. Only problem I have is getting hubby to do what he is suppose to and make things ready on time. Never happens  Like tonight. I told him put potatoes in at 5:00. Well they didnt go in til 5:20. Roast is done at 6:00. So Microwave comes in real handy :) Husbands... Who invented them :dizzy:
Marnie: Loved your Real Women thing!

G'day all,
What happens to the time:eek:
My garden is taking shape and looking good. We went to our financial adviser this morning and he re-assured us that all is going as well as it could be. I also bought some matting to mount some of my photographs to frame. I now have to practice using a mat cutter.
Lily thank you for posting the address of the site of Yosemite Park, I cannot believe you have never been there seeing you live so close. It is a bit like when we were in New Zealand, the locals were very interested where we had been as they had never gotten around to seeing some of the areas we went to. I am a bit with you on the camping but I also have to say the few times we have camped it has always been nicer than I anticipated it would be.
I am also still practicing my skills in restoring etc. seeing I am offering my services now.
If any of you want to have a bit of a giggle, I posted a restored photograph of myself here
Back at work and starting to wish I was fully retired! ;)
Our Leader at WW yesterday teased us a little more about the new program. She said we'd all get new books the end of August. I'm kinda excited about it.
I'll check back later - I'm low on news.

:grouphug: Hi Everybody
Well I went back to Weight Watchers today, and it was not a pretty picture. :( The last time I had been there was in February and since then I have gained 5#. I think I actually gained those pounds this past week celebrating my birthday. :o
Our Leader only told us the we would be hearing about some new things at the end of August and that her lips were sealed. :nono:
Today when I was at the kitchen counter preparing our dinner I looked out the window and there was a baby bunny, a small red squirrel and an assortment of birds all happily eating together. :hun: They looked so cute, then a BIG rabbit came to the pan that I put the seed and carrots in and the little bunny ran and hid under the pine tree. All of a sudden the silly LITTLE red squirrel decides that he is going to chase away the BIG rabbit. I actually laughed out loud. They looked so silly. The rabbit got up on his hind legs looking like kangaroo (all he needed was little boxing gloves on), and the red squirrel was charging at him but not getting too close. The rabbit then went after the squirrel who very quickly ran straight UP the stucco of our garage making angry squirrel noises. These little critters of mine sure do provide me with lots of entertainment.
Hmm, that's strange everytime I try to use a "smilie" now I get a thing saying "script error"...........
Lily Yosemite "looks" just wonderful. That would be a great place to go camping. Would you take a tent or camper? Maria
You certainly did a wonderful job on the photo. Good for you!

G'day all,
I am taking the plunge today and registering my business name:fr:
I want to register a domain name but have to be registered as a business so I thought I might as well go for it!
It is all kinda scarey and I don't feel that confident about it all but nothing ventured nothing gained.
I am working on my website today.
Slavika Good for you returning to WW, I am intrigued with what the new things are that ww's are introducing. No doubt all will be revealed very soon.
Love the menagerie you have outside your kitchen window, that definetly is the best way to watch the 'pecking order' that obviously exists in the visitors to your garden. I am surprised at rabbits visiting your garden, they are not a pest???
Marnie I am sure you have mentioned it but I have forgotten what the work is you do. Is part time work an option for you?
Back to working on my webpage........

Maria good for you, go ahead and with your plans and see what happens. If you don't, in the future you might be sorry that you hadn't. :)
About my "critters". I stopped putting out peanuts in the shell for the squirrel because a neighbor of mine said, "I know where your squirrel hides his peanuts........in my yard", and she sure didn't sound too pleased so now I buy him "shelled" peanuts, so that there is no mess. The rabbit, well he eats the seeds that the birds eat and I put out a couple of carrots for him and so far he leaves everything in my yard alone (and probably in the neighbors too) EXCEPT, DH had to put down some grass seed where the road salt had killed it and the bunny sure liked the nice new grass that came up. :) I really love to see these little animals in my yard, but I don't want to cause any hard feelings with my neighbors, so I try to be careful not to offend them.

Aren't you supposed to be asleep by now Slavika?:D
Nice to see your reply post.
A person I worked with used to encourage the yellow crested cockatoos into her yard. They are a beautiful looking bird but......their screech is horrendous. Her neighbours got very angry because of the feeding she did. Every morning a huge flock of screeching cockatoos would descent on her yard.
I used to put out fresh mince meat for the kookaburras and the magpies. Seed for the magnificently coloured parrots. It used to be a real joy sitting in my family room and watch all the goings on.
I am planting a few shrubs in my new garden to hopefully encourage some of the parrots to come for a visit again.
Thanks for the encouragement re my new venture. Website is coming along nicely but I do take forever to decide on colours, design etc. etc. When I have got it up and going I will post the address and get some feedback from you all, especially Lily's she may be able to offer some suggestions for improvement.
I hope you are asleep by now and I receive a reply tomorrow!

Good Morning to you All!
My question of the day is, do any of you snore, or live with snorers? I am a snorer, and I'm wondering if there's anything out there that will prevent it. I've read a few things on line that indicate when you lose weight you snore less. (So that's helpful!)
Slavika, love to see your little animals! Maria, anxious to see your website.
It's really slow at work today. I'll have to get in a couple games of Solitaire!
I'll be back!

Hi Everybody :grouphug:
I was talking to Trudy and she wanted me to tell you gals that she is fine but her computer isn't. :(
Marnie my DH tells me when I am over tired I snore too, but like Lily I don't believe it. :p Because of these hot flushes and going to the bathroom every 2 hours or so during the night I am really tired some days. Well, one day last week I fell asleep in the easy chair and actually woke myself upbecause I was snoring. I'm telling you gals this, but if DH even "suggests" it, I deny it. ;) Dh also snores sometime too, so I guess we are even. :)
My new green shingles were put on my house/garage yesterday and I really like them. My house has tyndall stone on the front and is painted brown with a cream trim. We are now going to paint it green with a white trim. I am also getting a new front and back door. I had the design consultant here today from the upholstery shop and I have chosen the fabric for two living room chairs and also for my dining room chairs. It costs about the same to upholster a chair as to buy one, but those two chairs are really good ones so it was worth it. I hope I like the finished products. :dizzy: She brought so many fabric samples that it took me a long time to decide. Next week the kitchen counter man will come and help me decide what to do about that. After we get finished with the updates on our house we'll have a better idea as to what we can afford when looking for a winter "home". Maybe I'll have to make do with a potted palm tree in my living room and a sun lamp. hee hee :D
Not much else new with me. I tried to make wise food choices today. My hardest time is in the evening (that's when I'm looking for some little treats), when do you gals find it's the most difficult for you?

Happy Friday!
Thanks for your "snoring" ideas. I even went to look in Google for "snoring" forums. We are not alone.
Slavika, I am a night-time craver, too. I've found that raisins and the WW (2 pt) cones do it for me. I've been saving those 4 pts to have in the evening while watching TV. Like you say, it's a little treat for me.
Maria, I'm looking forward to viewing you web site. :mag:
I'm meeting 2 friends from high school for lunch! I'm not sure how it will go - I haven't seen either one of them since we graduated some time long, long ago. We're going to a restaurant where I can choose wisely. I'll report back. I think I'm actually a little nervous about the conversation. :gossip:
Have a great day all :bubbles:

Hardest time for me I guess is between breakfast and lunch. I generally have some kind of Protein at the time to carry me thur. Seems to work for me. I have never been a night time snacker. Thats always my biggest meal and it seems to make me happy.
Your new decorating ideas sounds wonderful. You sure are doing alot!
Marnie: Not to worry. Once you see each other it will be none stop talking, Im sure of it. Old friends are fun even when you havent seen them for ever. Have fun and let us know how it went!

Hi All: Put my DD on the plane this a.m. and so now things will get back to normal, whatever that might be. She is doing very well and hoping to go back to work half days next week. I keep telling her not to push herself, but she doesn't have any more time.
Maria: I went on your picture site, but can't figure out how to see the picture. Just dumb I guess. Either that or I didn't wait for all the information to come in. Good work with the Web site and business. I'm sure you will be a huge success. And slavika is right, even if it is a bit scary, you would always wonder, if you don't try it.
Marnie: My nibbling time is about 4:00p.m. A hold over I guess from when I was teaching school and when I would get home I always needed something to give me an energy boost. Now I find that one of those part-skim cheese sticks will do the trick for 1 point.
Lily: Hope you have a great time camping. I know what you mean about tenting. When we started tenting we bought a thick foam mattress to put our sleeping bags on. One night it rained, and we had neglected to be careful with the ground sheet, and the rain ran right off, and under the tent floor and our mattress became a giant sponge. Needless to say we qoke up with wet 'butts' and ended up in the middle of the night having to go out and do a little trenching. One of those learning experiences. :D::censored:
:yikes:
I told you I think that I was considering trying the South Beach diet. I have just finished the 2 wks of Phase one and have lost 5 lbs. Now I start on Phase 2, which is very much like the low-carb WW program. I have checked my points and most of the time I have been within the range, just eating differently. I have missed the fresh fruit, but now I can get back with that little by little.
There was a big spread in our local paper about WW last week and they talked about point phasing. Allowing an extra amount of points per week, to be used in a discretionary way. Don't know if that is a part of what is coming up or not. Time will tell.
Slavika: I 'm sorry I missed sending you Birthday wishes, but it sounds like y ou had a great celebration. All the work on your house sonds great too. Your outside colors sound appealing to me. We are cream and brown, because that was the way all the homes were when we first got here. And when it was time to re-paint, DH wanted to keep the same color scheme. :( Hi to Trudy.

G'day all,
Nice to 'see' you all this morning!
Ann Pleased everything is back to normal for you. Great effort loosing 5 lbs. I cannot remember you telling us about South Beach diet, perhaps I had a senior moment;)
We also camp now and again, your experience with the 'sponge' would have put an end to my camping forever:D
The site I posted was a forum like this, the link takes you straight to the forum where I posted a restored photo of myself.
http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=123684
Marnie I hope the reunion went well. I can imagine being a little nervous about meeting people from so long ago. I tend to rattle on far too much in situations like that and than feel so annoyed with myself afterwards.
On the snoring, dh and myself both deny we snore:D
On the most difficult time, probably late afternoon. Mid-morning can also be a problem but I can usually cope with a low cal cup-o-soup. If I have coffee I am tempted to have it with a bisuit (or cookie as you call them ;) )
Lily what sort of protein do you eat to ease those hunger pangs in the mornings? I am a bit of a carbo junkie.:(
Slavika All your renovations sound great though a lot of them sound very different to me like tyndal stone and green shingles:dizzy: I know what you mean about re-upholstering, here too it is sometimes cheaper to buy new, as you say it depends on the quality of the original.
Good to hear Trudy is well, hope her computer is soon fixed, we miss her posts.
I have a mental picture of you under the sunlamp with the potted palm besides you:D
For us the financial year ends on June 30. We went to see the tax person yesterday to get that fixed. I get back all the tax I paid with my little job I had in Sydney:cb: , I am such a book freak that I will spend most of it on buying more books, all for the business of course;)
We have know the tax person for a very long time, our kids all played junior sport together. I told her about my venture and she has asked me to do some collages for her, that'll be my first paid job. Now I have to work out what to charge
I have been bothered by the fybromyalgia again the last week or so:mad:  , it sorted of eased off a bit but not so good at the moment. At least during the day I am pretty right:)
A cool wintery day here, watching ds play football this afternoon his wife is in Sydney playing netball. He came for dinner last night and we had a game of canasta, I got bronze, ds gold and dh silver:D :D C'est la vie!
Peggy, Karen, Glenda and anyone else I may have missed, hope you are all well and happy.
Have a great weekend all,
Cheers

Thought I'd chime in here for a minute. Wanted to share about the snoring thing:tired: My DH has had a snoring problem forever. But until menopause I never heard him at all. We knew he snored all those years but figured with my hearing disability all kind of evened out. But with menopause I became a very light sleeper. And let me tell you girls the snoring almost sent us to divorce court! Then one day I was reading a magazine and saw an ad for what is called a Snore Guard. It is made by the dentist and has taken care of that problem for us. My Dh does have mild sleep ap(can't spell it). Went through the sleep studies and all . This dental device takes care of the problem. Even at the sleep clinic they were surprised. And it saved me from divorce court:nono: This was probably more infromation than any of you needed.
:o
Marnie how is the weight loss going?? hope you had a great time with your friends.
Maria wow starting anew business adventure. Good for you. I did go check out the picture you restored. :bravo:
Slavika I enjoyed hearing you talk about the critters in your yard. I think watching the little animals is so relaxing.
Ann sorry your DD had to go home but nice that you got to mommy her for a while.:)
I don't do Camping:nono: :nono: :nono: Not my idea of fun at all.
Well my Dad starts another round of chemo the 18th. The first one really took it's toll. 5 days into it he had to spend the night in the hospital. Today when I say him he looked pretty chipper. But he is really dreading the next round. I've found out that my Dad and I are more alike than I ever wanted to admit. He insist on being up and moving never admitting how bad he feels until he can no longer hide it. That girls is me:yikes:
Have to go . am trying to get my next weeks meeting together. so back to work.

Happy Belated Birthday Slavika. That carrot cake is good but evil. A piece from the Cheesecake Factory has something like 1600 calories. And carrots are supposed to be good for you. Have you made a decision on the upholstery fabric yet?
Marnie have to laugh at this talk of snoring. My dh does and he says I do too. Of course I don't believe him.
Maria I haven't looked at your pic site yet. You are just doing amazing things and all I can say is way to go girl!!!! Your yard is sounding so pretty. Is the sister with the plants the one that is a pain?
Lily it's funny how we don't go to the places that are so close to home isn't it? I am just doing 2 craft shows this year. One is in Indiana next month and the other is at a local high school in Nov. That one is the money maker. I am just tired of dragging stuff in and setting up. Burned out I guess.
Anne glad that you enjoyed your time with your dd. I see a Curves has just opened in the neighborhood. I must go check it out.
Karen sorry to hear about your dad. I have to go back to the old thread and read.
Have to go to sil's this afternoone and see my niece, her dh, and their baby. THey are in from Chicago.
Have a good weekend,

Good Morning: I neglected the snoring situation. My DH says I snore, but of course i wouldn't admit it. He also snores, but if it wakes me up I just say turn over, he does and then he stops. So it hasn't been too great a problem for us.
Maria: got the picture fine this time. I think probably our computer just doesn't always download everything as it should. We are planning to go to a different carrier one of these days. Want to go to Road Runner which is cable access. No more telephone access. It will cost more, but is much faster, and according to a friend, much more satisfactory. We'll see. As far as the south Beach diet is concerned, it is a 3 pahse program, written by a cardiologist. The first two weeks are no carbs, except what you get in vegetables. Then Phase 2 is like the WW low carb diet, as far as i can tell. I just needed a jump start as I just seemed to be too comfortable with the WW program. i want to get back to my goal weight. So we'll see. Today I start Phase 2. This means adding some carbs gradually, and I am expecially glad to be having some fruit again.
Karen: Nice to hear from you. Hope your Father does better with this round of Chemo. It certainly can be very debilitating. Are you just as busy as ever with WW? There was a big spread in our paper about WW and they talked about some special new point system. I know you are sworn to secrecy until the unveiling moment, but can't help but wonder if that isn't what is going to take place.
Hi everyone. Have a great weekend. Ann

Hi Everybody :grouphug:
Maria I hope when you are picturing me lying under my "potted" palm tree and with my sun lamp, that you are at least picturing me THIN. LOL :D
:bravo: on getting your first paid job. :)
Karen your Dad sounds like a real trouper. Sometimes when we are sick and force ourselves to "move" around we actually end up feeling a little better. I know that this must be a really rough time for him. He was so sick from the chemo last time and I guess he knows he will be sick again. :(
Peggy I chose the fabric for the two chairs and the dinning room ones as well. The shop will pick up my stuff when the fabric is in. They said, all and all it will be about one month, then I will have the finished products. It's difficult to choose a fabric when the samples are small and you have to visualize how it will look on your furniture. I hope I am happy when I get the chairs back. For the dinning room chairs I chose a more expensive fabric then the living room chairs but I really liked it. It is a small blue check with a bit of gold in the
center. I have my DH Mother's "Royal Crown Derby" dinnerware and I also inherited the same dinnerware from his Aunt (the Mom and Aunt were sisters). The pattern is called MIKADO . If any of you gals would like to see the pattern you can go to:

When the design consultant was here she took a couple of the dishes out of the china cabinet to show me what it would look like with the chairs. The blue in the dinner pattern is not the same as the blue in the fabric but somehow it seems to compliment each other.
This morning DH and I went and actually ordered the KitchenAid stove that I have been telling you about and also the Amana fridge with the pull out freezer. They will be delivered on Friday. I feel like I am spending money like a drunken sailor but chairs, fridge. stove are all 20 years old, so it was time to do something about them.
I heard some thunder a short while ago, so maybe we are going to get some rain. We could use it. I am going to treat myself now to a couple of my tomatoes fresh from my garden. Hope you are all enjoying your weekend.
