Unhappy new goal, for the umpteenth time...

i have been trying to lose weight from the past 7 years... and i am right now at one of my higher weights. but i shall not give up. i had no motivation to work out inspite of reading up on lots of literature regarding this. so, yesterday i teamed up with two girls, each with a goal half of mine and started working out. i did callisthenics with my friend S and then after a gap of an hour or so i did cardio with A.
while i am not sure about their availability for these gym sessions... i hope i can continue.
i want to lose 10 kgs in 47 days.... i can do this if i lose 0.2 kgs per day... frankly telling i dont have an option but to lose weight...
i have honey and water for breakfast... keep sipping it till lunch, so it keeps my cravings away... then i have a veggie lunch with rice and sambhar (cant avoid that- hostel).... evenings i have coffee (the nectar of gods) and sometimes a snack to go with it. dinner is where my problem lies.. i mean, i console myself (for anything bad that i may have experienced in the day) by eating a good dinner.

can anyone suggest some dinner tips... like... i have a light dinner and dont snack on stuff later?
good luck to all those like me, all those who are pushing through, even after multiple setbacks

That rate of weight loss is ambitious! I wish you you the best of luck! For me, psychologically, having one meal a day where I don't feel deprived, or hungry is important. I do have a semi-firm rule of nothing but water after dinner, though I have been known to break it when I'm feeling particularly deprived. For me, it's all about sustainability. I am satisfied with 2-3 pounds of loss per week. Your goal is more aggressive, so that approach might not work for you, but I thought I'd share.

try making a salad with grated carrots, baked beets and apples, add some dried fruits and nuts to keep you feeling full. maybe try hiding some flaxseed flour (or ground flaxseeds) in there, it keeps you feeling full for hours! make a honey vinaigrette with some soy sauce and grated ginger. this is what i eat sometimes. it actually tastes quite good and is very low in calories.
also, try eating lots of spicy food, it accelerates your metabolism so that you absorb less fat.
good luck!

You should move this to weight loss support.
