Default Low Progesterone = No Weight Loss

Okay, I have a theory.
I know everyone's bodies are different but this is what I've noticed for myself. I have PCOS and I have found in the past when I've been put on progesterone to start or stop a period, my moods are suddenly awesome and it's really EASY to lose weight. I call them my happy pills.
In the past, when I've tried to lose weight while not on any BC or Progesterone, the weight just does not come off.

So, I am thinking... that if breastfeeding causes low progesterone, that COULD be why the scale is not budging despite my honest best efforts.

I might talk to my OB about a natural progesterone cream. I wonder if that might help get things started a bit.

If you haven't already it would be very worthwhile IMO to have your prolactin checked too.
