Default Hi - I'm 'new'

Kind of, anyway. I've been a member of 3FC for years now but dropped away for a long time.

I'll be 59 in September and am having all sorts of trouble losing weight. I thought if I started posting here again and reading others' adventures that it would help.

At one time I weighed almost 200 pounds at less than 5'4". That was years ago, and I lost a lot of weight and got down to 128 in my early forties. Over the years, the pounds have kept creeping up and today I am 172 pounds. Well, 171.8, but who's quibbling? My metabolism seems to be so sluggish now that it's a huge struggle to lose even one pound, so here I am.

I know you posted in July, but welcome anyway, I'm new too. I was a member several years ago, but when I decided to start posting after so many years had gone by I had to re register.

Hello, I'm new too. I'm exactly 50 and finding it difficult to lose weight this time - must be all the yo yo dieting/bingeing all my life.

I'm also kind of new, I was also a member years ago, but the system didn't like my login anymore. So like you I re registered. I am struggling this week but am determined to succeed. My tummy is protesting the amount of food I put in it. According to my daughter who is a veteran at this, it will take a few weeks. I have to remember why I need to do this and keep on going with it. Anyway welcome back
