Red face New member starting weight watchers point plus for free

Hi guys i just joined 3 fat chicks, and i also am starting weight watchers points plus. I don't have the money to actually join weight watchers so i schooling myself to do it at home. Any tips suggestions? I'm also looking for a food value list. I can't find one online. I found a food points calculator but i really would like a list. If anyone can help me with that and just give me tips on weight watchers i would really appreciate it. ~Thanks, Adrianna

The list isn't available online to keep people from making it up as they go on their own.

It's not just points, it is about balancing the points also so you have a well rounded diet.

I would consider joining, it is not nearly as expensive as some other programs and it has a great support system.

Hi Adria! I also just do WWPP at home for free. I was able to find a PDF of the complete food list online somewhere and downloaded it...unfortunately I don't remember where I found it. I also use this website a lot http://exercise4weightloss.com/
It has some basic info about the points system as well as point values for a lot of restaurants, and a couple of point calculators. The only thing I haven't been able to find online is a recipe points calculator, but since I have the complete food list I just use a point value for a comparable item (or I google it ) Good luck!

Cool Hi and Welcome

I am on weight watchers too. but I have since learned that it is not about the points it is about the food you are eating also. moderate portions and not eating anymore once you are full, cutting back on the unhealthy stuff especially processed food, eating more natural food like fruit vegetables whole grains, staying far away from sugary drinks like iced tea and soda, not eating a lot after dinner at night. those are the things that will really help you lose weight. Also very important its not about the points its about the calories and the nutritional value. hope this helps you and good luck
