I write mine on a word document, and always have. That way I can go back however many pages to when I ate the same dish before, and just copy and paste.

You can record all of your calories on the MFP website. You don't need to use the app. Just make an account through the website and you'll be good to go.

I record calories at MyFitnessPal using my computer (I do have the phone app also).

Sparkpeople's website will also let you enter calories from your computer.


Personally, I just track mine in a little notebook I keep with me all the time. I find it SO MUCH simpler than trying to look up my foods in the Sparkpeople or MFP databases.

I use The Daily Plate on livestrong.com and recommend it. They used to have a good community too, but they got rid of their forums.
