What the heck is non-dairy cream cheese???? I saw it was allowed on the food list, and was thinking it would also be great baked like I normally do into cheesecake except with Splenda instead of sugar, and of course no crust. But I have no idea what that is. I've seen something called neufchatel in the gro. Is that it????

Yikes! Non-dairy... I'm not sure, Bobo. I do know that it's not Neufchatel. Is it perhaps the "fat-free"? (horrible stuff)

I bet non-dairy cream cheese is that tofu cream cheese crap. I think I'd just forget about cheesecake until Phase 3 and then make it with real but lower fat Philly.
Ricotta might work in a cheesecake but I really have never tried it.

I know the product can be found in the health food stores or maybe in your better grocery stores if they have a health section. Not sure if it's from soy or not.

I think I will pass on the soy "cheese". I am going to try the cheesecake tomorrow though with ricotta, just following my regular recipe. I'll let you know how it turns out!!!!!!
