This is Challenge 4 of our 2014 Goal Year Challenge.

Challenge 4 will be approximately 6-7 weeks according to when your weigh in day is and will cover Mothers Day until Independence Day. Everyone is welcome - you don't need to have been a part of the previous challenge to participate.

Challenge 1: New Years Day to Valentine’s Day (January 1st to February 14th)
Challenge 2: Valentine’s Day until April Fools Day (February 14th to April 1st)
Challenge 3: April Fools Day until Mother's Day (April 1st to May 11th)
Challenge 4: Mother's Day until Independence Day (May 11th to July 4th)
Challenge 5: Independence Day to Labor Day (July 4th to September 1st)
Challenge 6: Labor Day to Columbus Day (September 1st to October 13th)
Challenge 7: Columbus Day until Thanksgiving Day (October 13th to November 27th)
Challenge 8: Thanksgiving Day to New Years Eve (November 27th to December 31st)

Weigh in for challenges will be once a week. Copy and paste this format or create your own, edit dates to match your weekly weigh in day. You'll be coming back each week to update your progress (find the entry and click edit). And this thread will be available for us to chat about the challenge, overcome struggles and celebrate successes.

I will post a new thread for each new challenge as they approach. This means the thread will not get super long by end of the year and anyone can jump in at any point in the year!

Have not been able to weigh for a week. Displaced from ,y apartment by water damage. looking for a new place to live while living in a hotel and eating out. really tired of restaurant food. Will check in when it starts to settle down.

Got my scale back. Lost another pound. Feel good about that since I have been eating out for 2 weeks and under a lot of stress. Probably will not make my goal this time, but most likely will be a "loser". Best wishes to all with this challenge.

Wannabe The new hotel is nice enough. I got spoiled at the last one! Lots of airline personnel seem to stay here so I figure it is a safe place. Busy but quiet. Now on to finding a new place to live!!!

I lost 3 pounds this week!! I am thrilled considering I am eating out 3 times a day. 10 pounds to go to reach my challenge goal. 48 to go to get to Onederland.

Struggling the last few days. It was the anniversary if my husband's death yesterday, (2 years). I will not meet my challenge goal but am happy with how I have handled eating out and not having a refrigerator or kitchen. If I can make it here, I can make it anywhere! :)

I had a bad day yesterday, lots of emotional eating, grrrr. Anyhow here are my numbers from the challenge :

05/23/2014:286.4
05/30/2014:284.6
06/06/2014:284.4
06/13/2014:282.8 PMS water retention time.
06/20/2014:280.4
06/27/2014:277 (hit goal 1 week early and beat it by 1.4 lbs. Yay)
07/04/2014: End Weight: 278 lbs. (I've been sticking to my calories, but somehow gained a lb. very frustrating but at least I made goal)

I can't wait until the next challenge, this has been a great motivational tool knowing that I have to weigh in every week and trying hard to get results. I'm very grateful to have been a part of this, count me in for the next one! <3 <3

I'm gonna set up the next challenge I hope SmallSteps doesn't mind. I'll just follow her format of course. I can close it when she returns if need be.
