Default Winter Staples

From one season to another I keep loosing track of the recipes I have found that work well as fall backs. I was hoping we could have a thread that we could refer back to next winter of any recipe you used FREQUENTLY this winter. Not the one you tried once and liked but the ones you learned to make by heart and used several times. My first SB winter I found a great kale soup but then lost the recipe. This past summer I made a mental note to remember how good and easy shrimp and avocado salad was.

I'll start -
This winter is was Kalyn's Kitchen Taco Salad. It was just so simple and I think it is the only time my kids have eaten a plate full of lettuce. I can make this meal start to finish in 30 min and I'm sure you could do your meat ahead of time.

The second is Chili - large batches of Chili!

What did you eat this winter?
