Default Beach trip - strict on plan or allow a splurge?

Medifast is working for me, so I plan on continuing on plan until I reach my goal weight. HOWEVER, we will be going to the beach this summer and I'm sure it will be tempting to have a little cheat with fried shrimp and hush puppies (a weakness of mine at the beach).

What have you done in situations like this? Did you have your cheat then move on or did you buck up and order grilled shrimp and salad and call it a lean and green (or insert your specific weakness and it's healthy version)?

I think it would be easy to stay OP at the beach because there are healthy options, I'm curious to know...does anyone else have cheat meals on special occasions?

I do. I figure you have to learn how to eat in healthy moderation. It slows down the weight loss but for me I'd rather that then all of a sudden be "allowed" things and it be a free fall. Everyone is different though

I went off plan for my cruise last fall and do not regret it at all. I came back to a huge gain, but it was all gone plus 2 lbs the first full week on plan. I will say this, once you go off plan, it can be difficult to get back on track.
