Has anyone got any weight-watcher recipes that they could post up. (Points system )

Dump can Soup (obvious by the items)

1 can of Black beans

1 can of Chilli tomatos

1 can of Veggie soup

1 can of Minestrone soup

1 can of Santa Fe corn

Mix these in a kettle and heat up. ( do not drain or add any water)

1 cup = 1 point

Some great desserts: (if you have a sweet tooth like mine)

1 can 100% pumpkin
1 box (1step) Angel food cake mix-dry
1 cup of water

Mix together and put in a bundt pan or 9x13, bake according to box, top with cool whip free.

2 bags of frozen mixed berries (any types)
1 white cake mix-dry
1 can diet 7-up

Put frozen berries in the bottom of a 9x13 pan, sprinkle cake mix on top, pour soda over all-do not mix. Bake at 350 for about 45 min.

1 can crushed pineapple-in it's own juice
1 box (1step) angel food cake mix-dry

Mix these tow together, pour in a 9x13 pan, let sit for 15min. Then bake according to box.

Rootbeer float:

1 scoop frozen cool whip free
1 can diet rootbeer

Start 209, Current 154, Goal 150

One can of fat free chicken broth.
One can of Rotel.

Heat till hot.

Great spicey soup.

Mexican Chicken Salad :hun:
Serves: 6 (WW 4 Points Per Serving.)
1/2 cup KRAFT Mayo Fat Free Mayonnaise Dressing
1/4 cup TACO BELL HOME ORIGINALS Picante Sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. chili powder
3 cups chopped cooked chicken
1 cup chopped tomato
1/2 cup KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Reduced Fat Cheddar Cheese
1/2 cup chopped onion
MIX mayo, picante sauce, garlic and chili powder in large bowl.
ADD remaining ingredients; mix lightly. Serve
with warm flour tortillas, if desired.

Dietary fiber 2 g

Crunchy Tuna Salad
Serves: 4
1 container (16 oz.) BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Low Fat Cottage
1 can (6 oz.) tuna in water, drained, flaked
1/4 cup chopped carrot
1/4 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 tsp. dill weed
1/4 tsp. pepper
MIX all ingredients.
SERVE immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Calories 130
Total fat 2.5 g
Dietary fiber 1 g

Cobb Salad Your Way
5 Points Per Serving.
Serves: 1
1-1/2 cups torn mixed salad greens
1/2 cup LOUIS RICH Grilled Chicken Breast Strips
1/3 cup canned corn, drained
1 small tomato, chopped
1/4 cup shredded carrot
1/2 medium green pepper, cut into strips
2 Tbsp. KRAFT LIGHT DONE RIGHT Ranch Reduced Fat Dressing
PLACE salad greens on serving platter; top with chicken
breast strips, corn, tomato, carrot and green pepper.
Serve with dressing.
Nutrition (per serving)
Calories 270
Total fatb 11 g
Dietary fiber 6 g

Minestrone Pasta Salad
Serves: 8
1 cup wagon wheel pasta, cooked, drained
1 can (15-1/2 oz.) kidney beans, drained, rinsed
3 medium tomatoes, seeded, chopped
2 green peppers, chopped
2 green onions, chopped
1/2 cup KRAFT FREE Italian Fat Free Dressing
1/2 cup KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Reduced Fat Cheddar Cheese
MIX pasta, beans, tomatoes, green peppers and onions in
large bowl. Add dressing; toss to coat. Cover. Refrigerate.
Calories 170
Total fat 2g
Dietary fiber 6g

Oriental Chicken And Rice Salad
Serves: 6
1/3 cup GREY POUPON Honey Mustard
1/4 cup oil
3 Tbsp. hoisin sauce
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
4 cups cooked MINUTE Premium White Rice
1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, grilled, cubed
3 green onions, sliced
1/2 cup PLANTERS Dry Roasted Peanuts, chopped
BLEND mustard, oil, hoisin sauce, soy sauce and hot
pepper sauce in small bowl.
MIX rice, chicken,and onion in large bowl.
Whisk mustard mixture and stir into rice mixture; toss
to coat. Refrigerate until serving time.
Stir in peanuts just before serving.

Hi, I am 18 (19 soon) and might I say, very broke. I am interested in Weight Watchers, my mom does it but she does it based on the old way with calories and stuff and it was too confusing for me. My cousin told me the points system is much easier to follow, but my problem is this: I CANT AFFORD TO JOIN!! It costs too much to sign up to diet programs, especially when your a student and are in the middle of paying for your upcoming college years lol So anyone that is willing to explain this whoel WW system and give me some hints, tips and how it works would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Kristen :)

We have a friendly little Weight Watchers group here, and you might be able to get enough info to get you started. However, something important to remember about Weight Watchers is that their success lies more in the support meetings than the diet plan. It is easy to follow, but it's just an average diet that limits how much you eat each day (though all diets do that, lol) When I was in college, there were WW meetings on campus at a reduced rate. You might look into that. Regardless, you should find some info on posts here, or at the official weight watchers site to get you going. I'm going to edit your email address from your post, though, because spambots will pick it up.

The shrimp cocktail that I posted in a separate thread has 4 points without the avacodo, and 6 points with. (and you can subtract a point from either if you only use 1/2 cup of picante sauce).
