Thumbs up First Day of the Rest of My Life!

Hi All!

My Name is Allison, I am new to this site and I am looking to lose some weight! I have decided that tomorrow (March 31st, 2014) is going to be the day that I start to make some changes in my life. I am 21 years old, I just got married, and I am a full time student who feel overweight and lazy and that needs to change. I keep making excuses and putting off diets and working out. I want to lose about 35 pounds because I want to feel healthy again. since I gained these 35 pounds I feel tired, unmotivated, and I hate to say it but my sex drive has diminished greatly. My husband and I have only been married for 3 1/2 months and I always thought problems in marriage sex life happened a bit later in the game! haha!

I have always struggled with my weight and always found it difficult to lose weight that I so easily gained. My main problem is motivation! I'm one of those who starts their new years resolution but loses interest after a few months! I need a support system that can motivate me and show me that it is possible for me to meet and exceed my weight loss goal. I am hoping all of you can help me with that! Tomorrow I start my diet, no sweets, no soda, no junk food and I am starting my work out routine of going to the gym 4 times a week! Wish me luck....I need it! lol!

Good luck but remember weight loss is 80% diet and 20% exercise.

Don't depend on your exercise for weight loss. Though its good to be fit especially in someone so young. YOu should be fit. JOin a team sport to mix in with your gym. It will motivate you more.

Quitting sweets etc is a good idea. I do that and i'm doing it more or less forever. Anything that's a problem for me, is on my permanent off list.
