Mini-Goals - Just stumbled in and want to share!

Am new here. Just stumbled into here when searching for very low carb desserts. Last July I weighed 282 pounds. I have always been an emotional eater and there have been some very deep emotions going on in my life over past 9 years. I decided last July that I want to get healthy for once in my life.
Today, I weighed 222 pounds. I haven't seen this weight since I was 17 years old! I always set small goals and have surprised myself at how I have blown past them! If I can get to 185, I would be happy. Last year, I was saying if I could just get to 225, I would be happy!
I look forward to having support here and getting to know all of you!

Lisa, congrats on your weight loss so far. I have lost 6.9 pounds in two weeks and am working towards a mini-goal of 225 and will get to 175. My BMI will still be over what it should be but I can't see myself weighing 135-145
