Hey everyone,

I was thinking I'd like to do a challenge for Easter. Since I didn't see any to join, I thought I'd start my own. I'm not very tech savvy and since I only have net access on phone phone I'll chart in manually and post the results.

Please include your start weight, goal weight/amount to lose and I'll make a chart the old fashioned way. Post your weight loss for the week by Saturday and I will total the pounds and post on Sundays. There are 10 weeks till Easter, lets try and lose a pant size :)

Start weight for me is 225.6 and goal weight is 203.6

Come on, join me before the bunny comes.

Weight today 213.0 I have been losing around 2 per week and probally could do 20 but... going to give a little wriggle room and shoot for Goal onderland!!!! or beyond so shooting for 15 lbs too. 198.0

Start weight today which is really up.... 197.2 Hoping to break into the 180's maybe 185. I am 54 and the last couple of months my weight loss has really slooooowed down.

Ainslie- I have taken the liberty of making a spreadsheet online with the intention of starting an Easter Challenge until I came across your thread. Would that be okay to share/use for this thread? I'll be glad to update it as time goes on to reflect the losses/gains/etc.

I always set my goals too high on these challenges and get depressed when I don't make them:( I won't change my weight loss goal for this but as long as I'm in the 260s by April I will be happy :)

You are welcome to update it ONLY if you know how to. Otherwise, leave it and I will update it ASAP because formulas are involved and etc. If the colors are a bit much, let me know and I will change it with no problem.

So far so good with the weight but we will see what Sunday brings us. Let's get this ball rolling!!!!!

PS- please ignore the numbers in the yellow column (lbs lost), it will change once you enter your first WI in Column C.

Wow, nice going on your first WI, Lotsakids!! You already are (a little over) halfway to your Easter goal for this challenge!

I'm a little up right now, I ate a few cookies too many last night. Darn those Girl Scout cookies! On the upside, no alcohol was involved so that's a lot of calories saved right there, lol. I'll be taking it easy today-salads, veggies and a green smoothie then a small normal dinner to sort of make up for the excess from last night.

WI today was not a loss nor a gain, just maintained I gotta step up my game and stay away from those evil girl scout cookies! I've done well on the no-alcohol part so far.

Late to this game, but would love to join in! I'm headed to LA for vacation the week of Easter and I'm hoping this challenge motivates me to get my tush moving.

Starting today: 239.4
Easter goal: 225.0

Ainslie- Glad things are better for you now. No worries on being slightly MIA. It happens! ;)

I've been doing good on the no alcohol all week. Friday was the last time and I only had one beer! It was hard but I resisted on going bowling tonight (BF and brother play in a league) and I drink there a lot. Man, this post makes me sound like an alcoholic. I am a huge social drinker and would like to cut (wayyy) back!

At this weight, it is harder to drink and still lose at the rate I like. It is better for my health overall anyway that I cut back, right? ;) This challenge totally helps to keep my butt on track! Thanks again, Ainslie, for making this challenge.

For dinner tonight, I made a sort of Mexican salad with grilled pork, white beans, cilantro lemon-lime brown rice, pan-roasted corn with some lime juice, tons of lettuce, dollop of Greek yogurt and a few black olives. It was delicious! Hope you all are having a good week so far!

I seem to be having some trouble with the spreadsheet. Spreadsheets with formulas make me nervous, however, I did update one on the Halloween challenge. So, I need some tech support please.
I joined 2/21 with a SW of 240.4
Where would I document my weekly WW weight which I usually get on Thurs. or Friday? I was guessing in the week 2 column (3/2/14)?

I am doing pretty good this week. Scale moving a little. I am hoping for a better loss by Monday. We are expecting a massive snow storm on sunday. they say in effect til Monday at 9pm. Snowaggedon they are calling it ice and then lots of snow, maybe a foot or more. I still have to work and grateful my job is only 5 min from my house. I am making a greens and beans soup for the weekend. We have a dinner at the sportmens club, never can tell what you will get there. In the past we have held moose, elk bear and even rattle snake. It is a buffet but I will be sticking with tons of salad.

Hi, Coops! Yes, you'd be updating your weigh-ins on your row in each column from C-K, currently your row is #7. If you missed one, it is okay to put a dash (-) in there, no biggie. Just to let you know, it will not update automatically unless I update the formulas. Either date is fine (2/23 or 3/2, whichever you prefer.) Personally, I'd put it in 3/2. :)

No worries on messing anything up, the spreadsheets have revision history and capability of restoring any mistakes made. That was very helpful when somebody with a grudge purposely deleted a lot of stuff on the Halloween spreadsheet.

Just a friendly reminder to all re: the Easter spreadsheet challenge, please do not edit any of the last 4 columns (blue, orange, yellow and red) since there are formulas in there. I have fixed it so all of your stats should update automatically whenever you enter your weight for the week, yay!

161.0 this am! Very happy about that! I'm gonna start back up on 30DS (30 day shred) after school and I will do 5, maybe 10 minutes in the elliptical to reduce the soreness after 30DS. I'm actually looking forward to the 30 minutes of pure h3ll, hahaha. Wow.

Whew, up to 165.2 this am, thanks to eating out two days in a row. I know it is mostly water weight. I start 30DS today after errands. Very excited!

I finally worked out!!!! I couldn't find my 30DS DVD so I did 26 minutes on the elliptical on the hardest setting. I'd have finished up the last 4 minutes but my knee was bugging me so I slowed down and stopped. Go me! If I can't still find my DVD, I'll just go online instead.

I hit the 150s yesterday weighing in at 159.8! UBER excited about that, I even did a little dance and yelled out in excitement, LOL. It's been almost a year since I last touched the 150s (I got down to 157 once then fell off the wagon and gained back to 170.) So I'm hoping to at least hit 156 if not 153 by the end of this challenge. :crossed:

WTG, AAD. You're so close to goal for this challenge!

Currently 162.8- TOM and water weight. I'm trying not to let it get it to me and that I know it will come off eventually! I've worked out Monday and last night on the elliptical. Still no 30DS. I may hold off on 30DS until I reach 150lbs, mainly because I did not see much losses with it (but nice body changes) and right now, losing consistently is what I need. I'm so ready to get rid of the last 15-20!!

I forgot to update I was at 245 for last week. Now I'm up to 250 again this week.

I feel like giving up. I have been fighting with these same 10lbs for 5 or 6 months :( It's been a super long, frustrating week.

Ugh I maintained this week (245.5) That's okay though its better to have maintained than gained! I'm slowly falling back into some horrible eating habits and I need to nip that in the bud before it gets too bad!

Well, I'm guessing it was all water weight which is why it went back up so quickly because I'm at 245.5 again.

I find this range hard and like I'm never getting out of it. Once I'm down to 243 (lowest I've ever been) I shoot back over 250. I really need to get a handle on this :(

Happy Easter everyone. Rough month. I am really trying to be focused with my training plus had some family issues so not always checking in. Hoping to see the 190's by the end of April. I did get down to 200.6 so just shy of my goal challenge but 9lbs gone hopefully for good. Hoping to see 199 tomorrow but unfortunately I think the diet was a little blown today. Look forward to seeing you at the next challenge.
