UK Fat Chicks - new to forum-starting again with fresh motivation!!!

hi everyone!

well this is my first ever post so hello n nice to meet u all!
i decided to join after a few failed attempts of healthy eatin n excersise as i feel support n encouragement is important wen trying to reach a goal/target-posting my progress on here will help me not want to give up so today is the fresh start of my challenge which is:

to lose 21.4lbs which is 1 and a 1/2 stones and 0.4lb and 4" off my waist-im hoping to do it within the next 8 weeks.this is my xmas weight that i gained so i want to get back to my pre xmas weight n measurements!

so im halfway thru day 1 and iv stuck to it and im not planning on cheating in next 8weeks so..also did my workout this morning and gave it my all!so fingers crossed the fat is burnin already..!havin low fat mushroom soup tonight so lookin forward to that!

hi apologies 4 late reply!since i started i have had a few hiccups but im over that now and started afresh (again!)and from my weigh in today i got 7.2lbs to go and 2" from waist-my official weigh in is mon so will hope 4 a good overall loss 4the week 2moro morn!

i do my own adaped eating plan which i derived from the original special k 2week diet from a few yrs ago-cereal morn and lunch and low carb/cal dinner in eve with fruit in between if i need a snack-type 1 diabetes-and sometimes treat myself to an eve snack which i keep to <100 if poss!
iv tweaked the way i eat over a few yrs after trying various diets like slimming world-which would b a great diet 4me but me and my mum joined and in 4weeks she lost a stone and i gained 1/2 stone which then meant i had even more to lose!-what i do now is only way that works 4me that i know of-wish i could enjoy eatin more but then i just gain weight-hopefully one day..!i do lotsa exercise too!

ps mushroom soup is awesome!bachelors condensed low fat but i like mushrooms!havin mums homemade veg soup tonight-yum!:-)

Hi, well done so far! Dont forget to drink alot of water! the more you drink the more weight you will lose (they say to drink 4 pints per day)
