Default Pencil test to determine butt lift?

I came across this while googling before and after weight loss pictures (I do this ALL the time when I need to get my motivation up )

Anyway, I came across this article called the Pencil Test http://www.beachbody.com/text/produc...lueprint5.html

So I passed it, but let's say you "genetically" have a flat butt, you would pass this right? but it wouldn't mean you have lift right? Funny because I had this workout recommended to me by so many people but it seems they like to use this pencil test to gauge how well your progress is lol. Has anyone tried this and gotten good results?

Lol I thought it was funny so I thought I would post it! Would love to hear your thoughts!

That is very strange!! I also passed but I wouldn't say I have a decent butt/lift at all!

Most women, even very thin women, with awesome butts will "fail" this test, and I suspect the test was designed that way to maximize failure, and thereby maximize their potential customer base...

In the same way diet pills and supplements "warn" that there product should be used only by those "seriously wanting to lose body fat, rapidly."

Really? Oh, no thank you, I'd much rather keep my body fat as long as possible."

BTW, my husband would pass this test, even though he has 150 lbs to lose, because he has no butt to "lift".

I thought the same thing as Kaplods. I have always seen this "test" as a boob test, as far as are your boobs perky enough to not wear a bra.
