Dr. Robert Lustig is one of my personal heroes. Here he talks on NPR in an interview about a new book that he has developed called the Fat Chance Cookbook. But he talks about a myriad of topics including obesity, fiber, smoothies/juices, the glycemic index, wheat and gluten, and of course - sugar. Enjoy!

Thanks. Also some good recipes on the site.
Finished watching it or rather listening, good stuff. Interesting point about the 4 things scales measure and only one being bad having more. Bone, muscle, 'good' fat all good, just bad internal fat. I must have had a ton of that.
I am much stronger now so I haven't lost muscle. Would not surprise me if I lost some bone and organs smaller now?
Also good point about waist size. I finally got to a 40 and those are getting loose. I was barely able to fit in 46s last May. Had some 48s. So fingers crossed I've staved off metabolic syndrome.
