I bought the new IP beef stroganoff packet today and had if for lunch. It was delicious! I noticed the calories and protein are higher than most of the IP foods I normally eat. I am in Phase I. Anyone know if this should be used as my "live meal" or is it interchangeable with all the other foods? I have contacted my center, but no one has gotten back to me yet. Haven't been able to find out anything with web searches so I kinda hope someone here knows. There are only 3 meals in a pack, which I didn't realize.

My coach has told me that the beef stroganoff is not considered an IP packet and should not be used as such, it should count as your 8oz dinner meat portion but you still need to add in 2 cups of veggies

They count towards your 8oz protein meal.. Same as the chicken with Dijon sauce.

The previous posters are correct. The stroganoff and the chicken with Dijon sauce are meant to be a more convenient way to get your "real meal" each day and should not be considered as one of your unrestricted or restricted meals.

Thank you. I was able to talk to my couch and she concurred what you said. It is very tasty. I am saving my last two for a rainy day.
