Got in my first 5k of the year, snow hike, half with the dog, half without, it was so hard, snowy and cold but so gratifying even though it took an hour and fifteen, it was 3.27 actually.

Welcome Misha nice to see another 51 year old trying to lose about 15, hopefully we can help each other! Best of luck to you!

Feeling good even though the food intake was not so great, a little bourbon and Irish cream may be behind my good mood at the moment...but overall feeling strong and motivated!!

Ian you're doing great, take good care of DW, DH is recovering well, I attribute it to him resting and recuperating right from the beginning which seems to be shortening his overall recovery. Best to you and your family.

Best to all

Too much snow!! I have been off the last two days and have so many errands that I can't get done. My next car WILL be an SUV with 4-wheel drive. I'm very much over winter, give me 80 and sunny.

Last night I did Jillian 30DS level 1 and today will probably be the same unless I can get to they gym. We'll see how the plowing goes over the next few hours, maybe things will be clear enough.

I got on the scale today not remembering that TOM is due any day. I about died thinking I had gained. False alarm.

i'm still getting over one of the worst head colds that I've had in a very long time....I rarely EVER get colds it's always an ear or sinus infection or pneumonia and even that's about once a year or less.....all yesterday I pretty much sat in my chair and read and rested....it felt like there was so much pressure inside my head and I could hardly talk....today I feel much better but i'm still very sore and stuffy....my whole body aches which is probably because I haven't been moving around too much...

i'm not going to the gym today...I really feel like my body won't handle a heavy weight workout session...I have some general house cleaning at home to do and need to tackle teenager's room before he gets home tomorrow so glad he's coming home tomorrow yay!

both the littler kids are sick too but at least it's vacation so we can all rest up

The roads were finally cleared enough that I could make it back to the gym. I feel for those in the NE. I spent about an hour there. Running was difficult because my thigh muscles are still like fettuccine from Jillian last night.

Tomorrow we're meeting friends after work for dinner so I won't be able to exercise again until Saturday.

Had bacon for breakky.

Was s-t-a-r-v-i-n-g later so had popcorn.

For a PM lunch/snack had avocado mixed with tomato and olive oil.

Had another food meltdown and noshed on cheese and made another pot of coffee.

Just had ribs and spinach for dinner.

Two glasses of milk today.

I think I ate so much this holiday my stomach has expanded and wants more food!!

Wife went in to hospital and is now out. She is doing fine. While she was in, I sneaked off to the gym and went mad. I did one hour of weight lifting and then saw the indoor running track was open to the public, so ran round that as fast as I could for 45 minutes. Then the hospital called for me to pick DW up. So pretty good timing.

Up 0.8lbs today to 167.0lbs. I had been constipated though and have had at least 4 trips to the bathroom today. Am expecting a loss tomorrow. I hope constipation is not going to throw my scale too much going forward. Eating badly, I used to be as regular as clockwork.

Breakfast: 1/2 cup Oats with 1 cup non-fat milk, 1 dried apricot, vanilla and cinnamon, 1 teaspoon honey, 1 coffee, milk, no sugar. Mackeral.

Lunch: Smoked salmon, albacore tuna, jumbo lump crab, lunch herring, 10 anchovies, 2 scrambled eggs, pickled garlic, tabasco sauce, hemp seed, 4 olives, kimchi, blueberries, tomato, seaweed, mushrooms, red onion, kidney beans, spinach, lentils, 1 chestnut.

Dinner: Beer (Clown Shoes Galactica).

Exercise: Did 1 hour of weight training and ran for 45 minutes.

Hi Everyone!

Psychic Good luck with your goals! You can do it!

Larry Look at you!

Novangel Good job with your weight and subbing Jillian. Enjoy the dinner with friends.

Alaskanlaughter Rest up and hope you feel better soon.

Inkrid Sometimes it takes a couple days to get back into the swing of things.

Ian Good news about your wife. Are you drinking enough water? I know you are active and need to replenish your fluids. This can cause problems in the bathroom dept. too.

Kelijpa I thing getting back on plan is very mental. For me, even if I eat within my calorie range, I don't feel as well when I eat foods that I don't normally eat. It just does something to me mentally.
