No smoothies today. Will tomorrow. Using hemp protein powder, almond milk, coconut milk, vanilla, unsweetened cacao powder, a little splenda. Up a few pounds the last day and a half even tho I've been pretty good and worked out this morning, cardio and weighlifted. I need to get the scale moving again.

scale is way up today 166.2, my body is holding on to a ton of water. Today will be a really light day so I will have a better weigh in tomorrow for sure to whoosh the water away :D Ha, I sure won't whoosh out 10lbs for goal, ;)

Love2b150 - I am in situation. Big jump up today. I know it is all salt so it should come off in a day or two. Going to push the water and rest. Also started a cold today.

Mad - I also do smoothies daily. I use almond milk, cocoa powder, whey powder, banana, spinach and sometimes blueberries. I know the spinach sounds weird but I read about others doing it so I gave it a try. The spinach leaves get chopped up really well in a blender and you don't taste the spinach. Found it a good way to get extra veggies.

did well yesterday :D DH took me to lunch, but I had a Bison Burger and some kind of veggie slaw, and a lite beer. He wanted to have some rum, too, so I did have 3 shots, spaced way out, and I drank probably 2 glasses of water in between each one! We'll see if it affects me negatively on the scale tomorrow, but today it didn't ;)

hiddenstar, Sorry about your up on the scale :hug: I had another up today. I tried to get it together yesterday but nope, I bombed. I like spinach in my smoothie also, it's funny how it doesn't change the flavor at all but sure make it look awful :)

Syckgirlsfv, you're doing great, so happy for you :hug: Time to start the next 13-14 day goal :)

small gain today... .4. not bad considering I had some sweets and some shots on Sunday! Drinking all that water helped! Didn't make goal but came close - time for the next one! love2b150 - what should we do this time?

Syckgirlsfv, I say shoot for the next 5lb. You've done great and once I get this water weight down/gone I can hopefully follow suit. I'm trying to follow you virtually to Vegas remember ;) I know you'll reach your goal before then but it'll be nice to hang with you :)

ugh...small water gain. Why? NO CLUE. There is nothing. :p I think it's that mid-cycle thing again, as usual. I haven't exercised in a few days due to school and mother's day, so that could be it. Most definitely :D

Hi Everyone!!

I'm back from my vacation and everything went so well! Had a lot of fun, ate many ethnic foods which I know I will not be able to eat again for awhile, the wedding was amazing (did not see my ex at all or his family!!)


Bad news? I gained 4 lbs and back at 170, oy! But it's not the end of the world. The day I got back I was 175 but it has slowly been going down. Here's hoping it gets back to 166!

I might not be posting as often as I did before. I am moving to a different state and starting grad school so I'll be pretty busy! I will def check in time to time. Btw I was browsing some earlier posts on here- you guys are doing great!! :carrot:

Ok, time to get serious. Family reunion is right around corner in july. Tom has passed. Family gathering over with. Nothing but me and my will-power. I will hit the 150's by end of may. I got to be strong and no little cheats until june. I plan to read this every morning.

Syckgirlsfv - way to go! Your almost there stay strong.

Love2b150 - bloats are the worst. Cuz you know that isn't your true weight. Keep up your water.

After almost 2 weeks of not moving, I'm finally down 2 lbs. Just goes to show that it may take some time, but don't give up. I know I'll hit a brick wall again at some point, but I'm heading in the right direction. Keep your spirits up my fellow dieters :cool:

Crap. I dunno what to do. I am holding steady. Doing really good on everything (except the 3 PB cups I had on a stressful Tuesday, and it's looking like I'll eat the last one today.) Did upper body and a little cardio on Wednesday, did legs and a little more cardio yesterday. Today I am just now breaking my fast and, while all "legal", it won't be pretty because I just cannot do nothing but protein smoothies today.

At this point, I MAY get out of 160s in May but not by much. And the 10 I want to lose by the end of June? Fahgeddaboutit.
