Default Another Intro

Hi All,

I 'm new to the SB forums, but not to 3FC. I've been on Ideal Protein for the past month and really enjoy the active message board there. The support makes all the difference!

I lost 50 lbs on IP in 2011, but the weight crept back on over the past 2 years. I restarted IP only 10 lbs under where I was the first go of it. I want to lose another 35-45 lbs.

IP is just like SBD phase 1 except you use packets in place of regular protein for all meals and snacks other than dinner. I love that I get rid of all of my carb cravings and stabilize my blood sugar on IP (I'm hypoglycemic), but it's expensive and I'm not a fan of all the fake food. Ultimately, I didn't learn a lifetime way of eating on it last time and that's my goal.

So I'm jumping the IP ship and started SBD phase 2 on Friday. I was afraid that I wouldn't lose any more weight with the change, but I have lost a lb since Friday and I'm happy with that.

I look forward to getting to know everyone on this board!

Welcome, Cindy! I'm glad you decided to join us, and you'll find that SBD is a plan that you can easily and safely follow for the rest of your life, using real, whole, foods. None of that fake stuff!

Welcome Cindy! I agree, the support makes all the difference. Visit us on the daily thread (once in a while, we'll even talk about SBD ), and the menu thread is awesome for getting new ideas or getting your menu evaluated.

Hope to see you often!

Hi Cindy!

Welcome to the beach! I lost a substantial amount of weight with nutra-system many years ago, but like you, I didn't learn anything about healthy eating. Everyday here is a learning experience for me and I feel absolutely fantastic. Daily checkins are essential for my keeping on track.

Best wishes!
