Diana they took me off them. I really think they misdiagnosed me and I passed another stone. Thanks for the good wishes!

I'm down 1.7 today, leaving me with just 1.5 to get back to my previous low. Getting the water off feels so much better.

Hello everyone
It is great to see everyone again!
I have been off this since June - busy with work- and frustrated that I did not lose weight- but back here because i gained 4 pounds! Thanksgiving feasts and leftovers did not help at all!! Hope to be accountable starting now
Planning on a bowl of cereal for dessert and slimfasts until Tues night (there is a dinner party on Tues night) so I need to lose all the junk weight I have gained over the Thanksgiving weekend!

Hi Everyone!

Alaskanlaughter I know you will be glad for things to get back to normal.

Pluckypear
We are only going there for dinner. We are staying about 45 minutes away. The earliest reservation for dinner that we could get was 3:30. They are having a gingerbread house contest and other Christmas events. I can see us getting there early and really enjoying the Inn and grounds. Even just sitting around drinking a hot toddy among the festivities sounds fun. We are leaving the Saturday before Christmas.

Kathydee Welcome back!

Inkrid Good job staying strong against the ice cream. I know it was tough. I got myself some healthy take out tonight. DH requested Taco Bell! I had to smell that all the way home in the car!

Kelijpa Good job with the get together and the snow hike! The snow hike sounds tough!

GMNEVO Keep up the great work!

Radiojane I'm glad you are feeling better. We need Dr's but they can also be frustrating! Good job on the 1.7 pounds!

Rasogolla
Welcome back!

Ian Good job on your weekend workout! Do you know anyone at the new gym? Great job on the .6!

Ok, so an observation from Thanksgiving this year vs. last year. I actually ate less food than I did last year. I had more alcohol, but I think my overall calories were less this year. I also had the Greek food the day before Thanksgiving this year. The observation is that I had a larger gain this year than I did last year. Not sure if the alcohol made the gain worse for me or what it was. Maybe my metabolism is slower this year than last year. Not sure if it would be that much slower. Doesn't really make sense. Maybe it was the 2 days in a row of off plan foods. Maybe it was because of TTOM. Not really sure why my gain was higher this year, but it was. I am back on plan, so that's all that matters.

Whew what a busy day! Made reeds 11:30-1:15 (the bane of the oboist) groomed two dog grooming clients 1:30-5, taught a piano lesson 6-7:30, talked on the phone 8-9:30. Barely had time to eat which is the only way I don't think about food. Total 1000 cals so far and will probably end day at 1100. Down 1.2lbs this morning so .2 below new set point of 144 that I can't get past.

TMI alert: mystery solved. Passed a stone this evening. All that worry for nothing. Wish I'd listened to my gut. Probably would have passed it sooner.

Dinner at in laws was salty, so probably a gain tomorrow. Did 40 minutes in the pool so 680 cals burned. Calories were 710 plus whatever dinner was.

Went to visit my Dad... and had leftovers. When will they end?? Now we are down to the green bean casserole and the turkey soup in our house. The kids and I played Poker/Texas Hold 'Em with gummi bears as chips/$$. Even though I lost, you can guess what happened. ^_^;
