Good morning all: I'm doing some work travel to finish out the week. Had to pack a larger bag to include packet and bar options, a shaker, water bottle, RTDs... Hilarious but I feel prepared.
It's interesting now that I notice these things...some gas station shops now carry those big dill pickles, boiled eggs...sometimes even things like EAS drinks. IP friendly
Last night I had dinner at a nice steakhouse. They grilled some zucchini/squash for me and I had a yummy steak and a salad. I was a bit wistful of the red wine but happy to drink water/hot tea and sleep better without it.
Just did my two strength training exercises in the hotel room, had my coffee, and getting ready to drink my breakfast.
I am thrilled that this diet is doable "on the road".
Happy Thursday all.

Great to read this as I have to go out of town next week and I know if I'm prepared I won't have any problems staying OP!

Good morning, all!!
Weigh in this morning shows a 4lb loss! That's a total of 59 lbs down!! I feel like the end isn't so far away and is totally attainable!
Super busy at work this week to catch up after being away!
Hope everyone has a great day!

Happy Thursday!
Shrinkingsusie: Yay!! Congrats on a great donation!
Vachinyc: I was just making my list for traveling during Thanksgiving. I think I'm going to have to cut down on the clothing to fit all my drinks and such in there! Just glad I've seen a lot of people preparing in different ways which motivated me to make my list of items to pack so I can alleviate the stress and be prepared!
Have a great pre-weekend day everyone!

WTG Susie! That is awesome!
And yeah for everyone who is traveling and getting their planning done ahead of time. I think it was Lisa who said "if you fail to plan, you plan to fail."
We're staying in town for Thanksgiving, so I am spared the traveling this year which is fine by me (I hate traveling on holidays!).

I appreciate this! My husband and I eat out frequently, and it is so possible to stay on plan when eating out. Typically I am not good about asking people to change something to accommodate me (In any aspect of life) but the first time I requested my dinner to be prepared according to how I needed it to be, it gave me such a good feeling. I hope to replicate this in other areas of my life too, but what a great place to start. Food, my best friend and nemesis both! Anyway...just thought I would share that.
Thanks for listening...

Happy Thursday ya'll . Weigh in day for me and I'm down 2.2lbs! So excited as that puts me over the 40 lb mark. 41 to be exact.
It's a surreal feeling to know that finally in my lifetime I've stuck to something and am getting good results. Without the support of 3FC I think I would have given up already. So thank you ladies and the odd gent lurking around (I ve seen you!)

I feel like I could have written this...I've always been terrible about asking for what I want/need. It is both terrifying and freeing that IP is helping me take baby steps towards becoming a more self-assured, confident me.

Shrinkingsusie, congrats on the losses. That is such good news after being on vacation especially!
Vachinyc, it is such a good feeling to be able to go out for dinner and not feel like you stand out and can't enjoy a good meal. I love this.
Well, it is -12 wind chill here right now. It snowed last night and the wind is blowing. It is so cold out! I guess winter has arrived. Feels like a soup kind of day.
Happy OP day to all!

San Diego, cant complain on temps, we are having rain today...yes it does rain in Southern California! Anyone have a favorite soup recipe that is OP?
I will check out the recipe boards too, but thought I would ask.
