Hi everyone! I have been waiting a long time to say that I have officially been on IP for 6 months and I am LOVING IT! In the past 6 months I have totally changed the way I look at food and myself, and I could not be happier. For all those that are considering starting the program, DO IT. Health is the best gift you can give yourself.

Before starting IP, I was 25 years old, 5'2, weighing 230 lbs. I was miserable in my body. I didn't feel good about myself, and didn't feel like a "normal" 25 year old who can go hang out with her friends and feel young. I was preventing myself from normal 25 year old activities because I didn't think I could physically do it.

Now, I feel great. Friends have told me that I am glowing and they have never seen me so happy. I have gotten messages from people that I haven't spoken to in years telling me that I have inspired them to start a weight loss journey.

In 6 months I have lost 59 lbs. (almost hit 60 in 6 months!!) and too many inches to count. I have gone from a size 18 to 8 in pants, and an XL to a M. I am off all of my medication, and my blood work is normal.

I am not writing this to brag - I truly hope that this will uplift someone having a rough day or someone considering starting IP. Do it, stick with it, IT WORKS. I am not done yet (about 20-30 lbs. to go), but so far, it has been the most successful thing I have ever done.

YOU ARE NOT BRAGGING - what you have achieved is great and you have every right to feel proud, very proud, of that and to share that joy with us.

Secondly, some of us who are struggling with staying on the program can always use the good news like yours - it is support which might help us to realize the challenge we face CAN and HAS been met my a mere mortal, so keep it up. It made me day!

Thank you saying this - sometimes I feel like I am bragging when showing friends/family my before and after picture, especially since I'm not quite done yet. You're right, I'm just proud and want to share.

Congratulations!!! You look great! Have your loses slowed down any or are you still going strong? I have been on IP approx. the same time as you, but my loses came to a complete stop. I'm working on getting that started again.

WTG! Thanks for sharing. I've been feeling a bit of "diet fatigue" so reading your story is a definite push for me. I want to be able to say I've lost my 60lbs in 6 months! (i'm a bit of a competitive person)

My losses have been pretty steady throughout. There were a few weeks where they seemed slower, but they picked right back up. I'm averaging about 10 lbs. per month.
