I am wanting to start a daily plank challenge for myself and others that would like to complete a challenge like this as well! Basically you set the goal for yourself, how many planks you want to do each day and for how long. We can keep this going for 30 days or longer!

My plan is to do daily planks as long as I can during my pregnancy, I would like to do at least 90 days, possibly more!

State your goals and keep track by posting your stats each time you log in for accountability. We can keep each other motivated and encourage each other when some days we don't feel like doing it!

Courtney's Daily Plank Stats:

Planks per day: 3
Time for each plank: 45 seconds, eventually building up to a minute or more!

Days Completed:
11/6: 3 planks, 45 seconds each

It's an exercise for your core, kind of in the push-up stance but on your elbows instead of your hands, you hold the position for a number of seconds, a lot of people say they're better than crunches.

I agree this definitely didn't take off like I thought it would! I am glad you got back into your planks though, that is something to always be proud of! Partially my fault for the lack of participation though, I started a new job this past week and have been adjusting to a new schedule, but I have been getting in my daily planks! I think I might have to reduce the total number of seconds in the next few weeks since my baby bump is definitely getting bigger, but I am going to keep it up!!

11/19~ 3 planks, 35 seconds
11/20~ 2 planks 35 seconds, 1 plank 46 seconds

Best to you Pink, that's cute your bump is getting bigger, way to go keeping up the planks, they are a great bang for the buck, such a small investment in time!

When I was doing kung fu (I did it for 8 months or so last year) we were expected to do 2 minute planks! Tough, but you improve quickly, you realise how much mind controls our bodies, and you develop a very firm torso :) I'm jumping in on this challenge!

That is awesome! I would love to do a 2 minute plank!
I have been doing my daily planks, and I do at least three a day, but anywhere between 30-45 seconds. It is definitely getting harder now, but I am determined to keep it going!

Thank you Keli, I agree about them being a great investment!
