Default Feeling Dehydrated!

I have always been good about drinking 8 glasses of water a day. Since starting a low carb diet I have been drinking 10-12 glasses of water a day, sometimes more. I drink only one small cup of coffee in the morning then nothing but water. I eat plenty of veggies. I exfoliate my skin and lotion regularly but the last week or so it is not enough! Wondering if I need to be drinking even MORE water? Or could it be something else?

I was really dehydrated and thirsty a couple of weeks into my low carb diet. It lasted 2 or 3 weeks and then was back to normal. I do drink a fair amount of water every day.

Maybe you could experiment with electrolytes. You could try adding pink himalayan rock salt to water maybe cut up raw veges. When I am dehydrated I often do this and find that it helps me alot
