Hi everyone!

For those who are interested, I modified the Halloween challenge spreadsheet and made up one for a 20lbs by Christmas challenge!

If you want to join in, PM me with your email address and I'll send you the link to the spreadsheet. You can then fill in your information and get started :)

If you want to join but you can't PM yet (haven't met the 20 day/20 posts requirement), you can leave your email address here but I recommend writing "at" instead of using the "@" symbol because you will get spam.

Nope, that's all you need to do - it updates/saves automatically. And it's a shared document on a Google drive so everyone just accesses the same document - no need to send it anywhere :)

You're welcome - I really just used one that was created before and modified it. It keeps me accountable to log my weight in every week :D

That's kind of why I'm staying OP until after the holidays. I was planning on phasing off for the holidays and January (going to Mexico) but now I'm staying OP and phasing off in January.

I think I fixed it - some of the columns were locked but only for certain people, must have been a carry over from when I copied it.

Please give it a try again and let me know if it works or not.

And yes, that is my 3.6lbs loss on the first line :D

We spend a lot of time traveling through Washington as we are outside Seattle, soon to be building a home in Cle Elum, and our son is in Pullman. We see lots of beautiful areas and we love taking road trips all around.

My birth home is back in Virginia so I love driving and learning Washington.

The tickers from this site don't show the "portions" of numbers, just the whole numbers - I think it rounds up. I got a ticket from tickerfactory.com and it shows the portions so if you want that, maybe get one from there?

4.5 is terrific. I finally was able to create an account and log my 1.4. Today i will prep for the week so i make good progress. Looking at my calendar this week. No reason to not be 100 percent. I can do this.

So down -5 but that was after being off program for nearly a month so loss would be higher just coming back. Still, 15 more to go.

Just to clarify, its only 6.8lbs towards the Christmas goal (my first weigh in was the Monday this started so my first 6lbs don't count)

Is there such a thing as eating too much veggies. I no longer feel as if I am losing enough weight. Any suggestions. I am eating my 3 ideal protein foods a day. I do walking 30 min no more than 4 times weekly.

Are you referring to what I eat daily? If so, here's a standard:
Breakfast: IP Bar with coffee (creamer is about an ounce of RTD vanilla) and a serving of CALM (powder magnesium to help with digestion)
In between meals: at least 48 ounces of water, usually a cup of ginger tea to help with my digestion (I have a big C problem!)
Lunch: 2 cups lettuce, 1 cup of cucumbers, 1 cup of bell pepper OR i'll put 2 cups of broccoli on top of my lettuce.
In between meals: at least another 48 ounces of water and another cup of ginger tea
Snack: Garlic and Herb Soy Chips or Ready-made pudding
Dinner: Grilled chicken, fish or hard boiled eggs with my select veggies oven roasted. Something about a warm meal at dinner does it for me! I usually roast turnips, jicima, peppers, or broccoli.
Snack: Rasberry jelly (for the collagen protein) or pudding, another serving of CALM.

I do a yin yoga class twice a week and occasionally walk my dad's dog, Rambeaux! He's a trained hunting dog so we work him a lot in the fields. I consider that exercise!

I got my second one from Tickerfactory.com - they had cute holiday ones - then just cut and pasted the code for the ticker into my signature. I added the second one - it's up to you on whether you want 2 or not.

Ok, the verdict is in...up 4.8 after 4 days completely off plan. Back on track 100% starting yesterday. Bring on the ketosis flu!

Weighed in (and added my loss to the spreadsheet) with a loss of 2.8lbs this week putting me at 0.6lbs away from 20lbs! Soooooo close!!!

A whoosh week - 5.8 lbs!! Still not going to make the challenge, but definitely helps with the motivation after several 1 lb weeks.

Just one pound off the Christmas Challenge but I will take it since I had been "on vacation" from IP. I think I finally got it!

So I still have 7 to go and two weeks. If I am 100% and a good girl, I should be able to do this. I have been away so long that my motivation has been storing up, so I should have lots.

These little challenges are what keep me thinking only of the short term, and not thinking about the huge goal at the finish line. 38lbs to my next goal.. I can do it!!

Congratulations kawaii1002 - made in and time to spare! This has been a great challenge because the holiday time is soooo challenging with office and business parties, friends baking, etc. To have something to keep me accountable is great.

I still have 5 more to go and 14 days to go, so I will just keep moving. My husband has an office party in a very fancy and swank penthouse type restaurant on the 20th. Nothing to wear that fits and I will be pretty self conscious in this group. So I will have to be 100% each and every day and then hit shopping on the 18th or 19th if I do not want to wear my older and baggier stuff.

It may be shopping in my closet if I am lucky - I have a kicky shorter skirt I would love to be able to zip up but I have to be able to sit down in it, too, since it is a formal sit down meal. I can see me getting the skirt and then getting to this place and not be able to sit - would keep me from eating for sure! I will do a trial run...

I feel the same way - not losing as fast as some of the lovely ladies on here but as long as we stay 100% it will come off eventually!

I really didn't think I was even going to come close to getting down 20 pounds by Christmas what with all the medical tests and surgeries but got a big surprise with a 5 lb loss this am and am now only 4 lbs away! Not holding my breath that I'll make it, but I'm sure going to be close!

Congrats to everyone for all the great progress!

Great job on the loss!! I am also a slow lose,r and am really please with my progress. I may not make the 20pounds, but I am consistent with a loss every week. Everybody journey is a little bit different, and we should be so PROUD of sticking it through!!
