Exercise: none at this time

Other: I would like to stay on plan the whole month November except on Thanksgiving.

Since I lost nothing in the past month as of this morning (went off plan for the first time in 10 months but am FORCING myself to forgive myself and move on), I'm going to take any losses I can get. Ideally, since there are so many weigh ins, I'd like to reach my goal!

November start weight: 189 (very salty dinner last night!)

11/2: 188.0 (-1.0lbs)
11/9: 185.0 (-3.0lbs)
11/16: 184.4 (-0.6lbs)
11/23: 179.8 (-4.6lbs)
11/30: 181.4 (+1.6lbs)

Final weight for November: 181.4
Total loss for November: -7.6lbs

Exercise goal: complete 30 Day Shred. Did not complete :(

November goal 10lbs.
I need to do 10 a month to hit 100 by the end of January (my one year WW anniversary). It is going to be a tough push, but I SOOO want this!

Exercise Goal: Work out without excuse every weekday at the gym. NO EXCUSES (I was good for a long time and then got sick, now getting back after a week and a half is going to be HARDER than if I had just taken the actual sick days UGH)

My Goal for November is to lose 6 lbs. I have been walking 5 miles twice a week, was doing so much better at walking in the summer. I want to start a workout DVD for the weekends...any suggestions?

I don't know if I have a weight number I would like to see for November. I feel like when I set a number goal for the month, I never make it. But when I don't have a number, I do amazing.

But, I have been incredibly sedentary since it's gotten too cold for water sports. So I'm setting a goal of earning 50 activity points in November.

Last weigh in during October: 267.0

11/1: 267.0 (-0)
11/8: 265.4 (-1.6); 17 AP this week
11/15: 266.0 (+0.4) 5 AP this week
11/22: 15 AP points

I want to be below 170 by the end of November. I have been screwing around for 6 years, lose some gain some. I have not been able to get below 170 all this time.

NewMe, what kind of workout are you looking for? i really enjoy any of Sara Ivanhoe's Yoga DVD's. I personally like the 20 min makeover ones, which i think has been re-packaged into one DVD vs 5. PM me if you want me to link it to you.

hey everyone!

so this morning I saw 280, up a little from weigh in day. i'm not gonna lie though, i totally had a doughnut at a staff meeting yesterday. i'm ok with it. i dipped into my weekly points, but that's ok...no falling off the wagon!

Since I've made it to goal. I'm going to do some activity goals for this month. I'm hoping to do 25 activity points of work outs per week. This should be a challenge, because I'm also participating in National Novel Writing Month and am trying to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days. I will have little time for much else besides work, writing and working out. It will be sweet.

I always have trouble with the activity points! I am not sure how accurate I am. Supposedly an hour on the treadmill/bike is 13 points. That sounds high to me.

I totally plan to go nuts on thanksgiving! But only that one day. Not the whole week!

Thanks! Need to have an average of .5 a day to hit my very high 14 lb goal....which I need to do to stay on track for 100 lbs on ove year.....

I already expect not to make it, but I am sure the **** going to try!

Still no TOM but took a pregnancy test in case. Not pregnant, just what I thought cause we aren't trying for a couple of years, but just in case.

So I sneaked a peak at the scale this morning (a habit I am TRYING to break)

hey all! I NEED to get better about posting here, more than I am now. It helps me feel connected and accountable. most of my other friends are in the normal to thin range, so having a community of folks who "get" the day to day struggles is comforting, and seeing success from everyone is inspiring. I made this a part of my goals for the month, and I need to stick to it!

Lioness, yay for wooshes! fingers crossed for January :)

Juvenile, this is a great idea.

Congrats Driven :) awesome loss!

I recently changed my weigh in day from Tuesday to Friday, so I have a bit of a long week. I can do wayyy too much damage on a weekend, that will show up on Tuesday. Is that cheating?

I need some accountability. I have been losing/gaining the same few pounds since July. I have not been able to get below 211.4. My November goal is to get into the single digits. I would be ecstatic with 209.9!

Yeah so much for a woosh. Here it is, right back on LOL. Love the scale. I REALLY have to focus on inches. Not lbs. Why is that SO difficult!

No regular interval. Usually when I get annoyed with the scale lol. So..probably this weekend. Haha! And I really don't know total inches, what I know is all of my clothes are too big and the ones I had stashed for a skinnier day are fitting just fitting just fine. So that means I went from a 4x/26-28 to a 1x 18/20 since the end of January. And oddly from a size 9 shoe to an 8.

I wish I had taken a proper before picture as well.

I was checking out my chart online, and I am at the top. Every 5 week (on average) I stall, go up, woosh down. I was just in the stall/up portion. Today I am almost where I started my week, so fingers crossed I am on the way down!

New low: 185.0! New commitment: try to walk for 45 minutes each day with my dog. It seems to be working. :)

I just have been very strict with the program I guess. Just following the rules as written finally! I eat only things I enjoy which helps a lot and I do get plenty of exercise. I have made SO many excuses in the past and this time I decided that it would be my last time :)

194 this morning. Was completely on plan but had TOM. A little discouraged but maybe a woosh will come by next weigh in. I also lose a point at 192. It would be nice for that to happen next week.

Well. October wasn't a good month for me. I didn't loae weight despite my efforts but I took a short break and was put on thyroid meds so hopefully I have a good weight loss month. My goal is five pounds.

My weight is not budging from 194. ): I will lose a point at 192 so that could be hindering, I'm not sure. I did join the gym Monday and am ready to get started running again, hopefully tonight.

I am stuck right where I was the last time I seriously went on a program for weight loss. About, 4 years ago. I am bound and determined to get through it.

Hey all, hope all is well. I'm not doing too well sticking to my goal of posting more often.
I weighed in on Friday, lost 2.2lbs (though I changed my weight in day from Tuesdays to Fridays, so it was technically a longer week), down 12.2 total since I started. I'm happy about this.
Lioness and Driven, I hope the scales soon reflect all the hard work you both are putting in. Maybe shake things up a bit with the foods you're eating? maybe go carb or protein heavy for a few days?
I find myself getting frustrated with myself these days. I'm 98% on plan throughout the work week, and for most of my weekend. But there is inevitable one weekend night and one full day on the weekend where I'm not so good about tracking, and I will indulge. Don't get me wrong, I do believe it's ok to do that once in a while, but it's a little out of hand. I have no issue getting back on plan on Monday. So far, nothing has reflected on the scale, but I know I can't be doing a day and half more or less off plan every weekend while I'm on this journey. I don't want to undo the hard work I put in over the week. Am I being ridiculous? Any of you struggle with this?

I'll give you an example. I went to Napa Valley for a friends' birthday. We picked up food from Whole Foods for a picnic. Instead of building a healthy sandwich, I got cheese, a carby bun, olive tapenade...and I ate the whole thing! and two cupcakes! excessive! I could have just gotten a healthier sandwich and eaten salad and fruit, maybe half a cupcake (we had lots of healthy salad and fruit).

LOL I would have probably done the exact same meal...minus the two cupcakes.

Of course I am sitting here with my apple, and it is just not doing the trick!

I hate these hungry hungry hippo days. I am just hungry, not for anything in particular. And honestly, I am probably not even really hungry. TOM should be here next week so it is just the bottomless pit feeling that always announces its arrival.

Using yesterday's weigh in. We went to Santa Barbara for the night, and we are and drank our way through wine country! We walked a lot, so it won't be so bad and no real setbacks. But a lot of water. So, I planned ahead and weighed in when I got up yesterday. Two weeks to lose 10 lbs. not so sure that will be happening. But, will give it a college try!

197.8. Had a slip up due to an unplanned weekend away. No way I actually gained 3 lbs, some should be sodium. I was really bummed about staying the same weight I thought I would shock my system... Back to the grind today.

I was up this week, a lot... :( Hoping to at least have that off again by Monday because I think a bit was sodium, but I did start at the gym, so it may not be off this week. Who knows?

Can't believe that it's almost time to retire this thread. This has been a challenging month for me, and I won't make my goal for this month, but that is okay. I don't know what to expect the scale to say, but I have learned from Thanksgiving, that my body can't take me eating like I once did. I was absolutely miserable Friday. This proves that I'm making the lifestyle change, because I don't want to feel like that ever again.

I did not make it, but it was a fun busy month. I ended up down just over a pound net for the month of November. But I am good with that honestly. I got through November less than I started. That is an accomplishment in my mind. Now if I can just do the same for December and Christmas, I will be a happy camper, and I have a clean 10 months ahead, no big eating holidays to get another 70 lbs closer to goal.
