Default Gym - What's your workout programme like?

I'm curious to know what sort of workouts people do at the gym?

Mine is currently this;
  • 30 minutes treadmill (Walk 0.5 mile, run 1 mile, walk 0.5 mile, run 1 mile and walk the reminder to 30 minutes, usually 0.5-0.7miles)
  • 15 minutes bike
  • Resistance machines (leg press, independent lat pull-down, leg curl)
  • Maybe 500m on the rower for a little extra.

I do 30 minute elliptical

20 minute cycling

every weekday.

Weekends are spent hiking, kayaking etc. Fun active stuff.

I try to work out twice each day for an hour.

I either run for an hour (6.2 miles)

OR

do weight lifting for an hour

OR

do boxing for an hour.

My rule is to try to leave at least 24 hours behind each type.

So I will box Tuesday morning, run Tuesday lunch and then weight lift Wednesday morning before running Wednesday lunch.

It takes a lot of my time.

And means I wake up early. Very early.

I try to take a group fitness class once a day on weekdays. So I would usually end up doing:
2 hours of bootcamp
2 hours of bodypump type class
1 hour of zumba or kickboxing

I have been quite consistent on weekdays. My health insurance offers a small rebate if I go to the gym at least 12 times each month. So that's extra incentive. Weekends I am less consistent.

Three days a week...

10-20 minutes elliptical (40-75 rpm, HIIT)
10-20 minutes machines (both arms & legs)
5-10 minutes treadmill (2-3 mph cooldown)
