Support Groups - *****An attitude of gratitude*****

10-16-2013, 02:09 AM
No matter what is happening in our lives... good things or not so good things - there are always things for which we can be grateful. Knowing this helps put life in perspective. It feels so good to acknowledge gratitudes. Studies show that doing this makes you feel good -and, also, you'll have a more positive outlook. :)

Please feel free to join in and share your gratitudes.

(Because I couldn't introduce this thread better, this message was written by Beverlyjoy and has been copy and pasted from the previous thread ( of the same name :) :hug:)

* Being well enough to run again
* to the helpful drivers who let me go first when they were pulling into their driveways or into the street
* the rain for waiting until I got home to start pouring down
* that I had the knowledge to help my peers in linguistics today
* that I got out of bed before 10am!

I'm grateful;
When I have a couple of stress free days.
When I have the willpower to avoid a binge - or get right back on track the next day
For my health and that of my children
That I took the step to start losing weight and found the ability to continue

I'm grateful that I work from home. My back has been causing me problems for the last week or so. I'm grateful that I don't have to get dressed and drive into the office.

I'm grateful that I found 3FC and I can always count on support around here.
