Good Morning All, Happy Friday! I have the day off today Congrats to everyone on their losses yesterday - It is always so encouraging to read.

I have a question, I am doing alternatives now - how many calories a day should I be eating? I have a feeling I am eating a bit to many calories.. maybe some of my protein choices need to be adjusted as they are higher in calories? I am losing but am wondering if I carve off a few more more calories if it might help..

I think it shoud be between 850 - 900 caloires a day, is that correct?

Clarington
If you are still following p1 protocol and using the guidelines for choosing restricted/non restricted alt foods, then you STILL don't need to count calories

If your alts are outside the guidelines (really nice graphic in the alt thread) then you'd need to align with that

That being said, I have MFP set for max of 1000 but rarely reach that. I tend to be under 900 most days

Slow--- It's all good. Esp if you're OP. Those slow weeks or 0 scale times usually translate to inches or a bit of a woosh at some point. It all is part of the real truth about losing weight. It's not linear! But keep in mind...if you had a good OP week...it's all good for your health and body! You did the right thing. One.day.at.a.time!!! HOORAY!

"Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is looking..."

This applies to taking care of YOU!!

Morning all! My laser eye surgery went well yesterday, extremely happy to be able to see really well this morning - could even see better seconds after the surgery! Have a post-op appointment at 9 this morning, hope to get the all clear to drive today.

Also happy to report that I saw a number on the scale this morning that I haven't for a long time - 198!!! Woohoo My official WI isn't until Tuesday but I'm still happy to see that number - it's been over 12 years.

Happy Friday all!
Jo

Good for you Jo, that's a great accomplishment. But GREAT your eye surgery went well. Both of my daughters had it done and it changed their lives. My youngest had it done right before she started law school.. and more than a decade later she still feels it was the one thing she did for herself as a "young" lady....that really made a difference. Not just cosmetically...

She used to fall asleep with her contacts in when studying...and I worried for years she'd get a terrible eye infection and lose her vison....(LOL..Moms are SUCH a downer sometimes...now she's one!)

Wow, your losses are still well within IP range, I don't think you need to change a thing. You look like you're doing great!

Default Good morning

I am off to my wi! Feel like I may not be down , although I have been op... Wondering if hormone cycles influence weight loss. I am serious Pms right now... But main thing is staying op, and I have done that. So we'll see what my coach says
