Default Hello. New here, having trouble with motivation

Hi all. I've actually been lurking for awhile but was too shy to say anything. I'm having a lot of problems getting motivation to follow a diet lately. I've gone from 390 lbs to 326 lbs since november but for the past month or so I've just been eating crap. I feel like even though I've lost 64 lbs I still look exactly the same. Other people think I look different but I look in the mirror and I can't see any progress. Luckily I haven't gained any weight back. I seem to be exercising enough to maintain but I really need to get my diet back into check. I guess I was just wondering if anyone had any tips for how I can get back on track. It kind of just feels like losing any more weight is impossible

Hi Sarah. 64 lbs is awesome and it is that loss that should motivate you to keep you going. If other people are noticing your loss, you are on to a good thing.

Exercise is great but you must keep the diet in check. My diet has been the main factor in my weight loss and I work out like a son of a b!tch. But I know that I can eat back those calories so easy unless I keep the diet good.

Watch those portion sizes and try to get low calorie sources of protein in what you eat.

I eat salads every day with fish.

You've got this. 64lbs down says you got this!

I'm listening in on the advice as I'm in the same boat with Sarah89. My eating turned to crap (and I know why) and the motivation to get back at it and do better is just gone. I've been stuck at 288/289 for a while now and I'm trying to get back to caring about my body again (by getting back on track).

Sarah, we can do this by taking things one meal at a time - shoot, maybe even one moment at a time in some instances. I'm here for you if you ever need to talk, vent, gripe, whatever...
