Because it's my birth month, and I want my present to myself to be the 270s. That means 8.4 lbs to lose this month, so I've gotta stay on my game.

Because I finally dropped all the weight I gained from last weekend and I am back to my lowest weight in 8+yrs. I want each weigh in to continue to be a SV.

Also because so many people have complimented me on my weight loss! It must really show now (I don't see a difference).

Seem to have been yo-yo dieting since the beginning of time. Now I am afraid of what will happen if I don't shift the pounds.

I will stay on plan today because after falling WAY, WAY off the wagon gaining nearly 50lbs this year and recently seeing a picture of myself...I realized I have no choice other than to be serious about this.

My reason to stay OP today is I weighed in at 261.6 this morning. I am so close to a brand new decade. I stopped weighing myself after around 220lbs until my prenatal appt with my first child 3yrs later when the scale read 272. I have no clue when I last weighed in the 250s, but it was sometime between those 3 yrs. Looking forward to seeing a new number!!:carrot:

That I now officially have less than a year before I turn 30, and I have a long way to go to make sure I'm at my healthiest weight before hitting such a big and scary milestone. If I can enter my 30's fit, healthy, and happy...that will be the best birthday present I could ever give to myself. And, to do that in time, I need to keep at it NOW. On a slightly more shallow note, I would like to say that - at least for a little bit - I was thin while I was still in my 20's. I've spent this whole segment of my life either overweight or obese. I regret that now, but I still have some time to change the ending to this chapter of life!
