I lost 5 lbs in August, shooting for the same in September, though I would love to see a 7.4 lb drop and be out of the 220s. But it took me almost 8 months to clear the 230s, so clearing the 220's in 2 months isn't super likely. We shall see.

I didn't join the August weight tracker read because I was on vacation the first week. I'm happy to be back at it! I was setting my monthly goals at 10 pounds, but I haven't achieved that since June, so I'm hesitant to go that high. But I do want to have a great month and be lower than ever by my b-day October 1! Long story short, I haven't decided on a goal yet. My official Medifast weigh ins are on Saturdays and they're bold and blue below.

Love - been at this a while now. Just gotta keep on keeping on. I'm aiming gor 175, so just 15lbs. After that I'm going to re-evaluate. I haven't been losing over the summer, but I'm not gaining either, so going to get into gear and beat the beast :devil:

Sam 175 sounds like a great beginning goal number. I wonder how attainable that would be in what period of time for me? You exercise, I don't. I know you can do it :hug:

invisagirl I wish I was allergic to something (crazy to say I know) but at least that would help me not to eat some things. I don't have acid reflux but it seems everything I eat gives me gas, often uncontrollable. :( My husband has never said anything about my weight either and he has never had a clue as to how much I weighed until I decided to post a chart in the bathroom. Has your husband ever said anything to you about your weight? or Are your like me and you're very hard on yourself? We are often times our own worse critics, smh. What kind of work do you do? Good job on the 4lbs down. :high:

I am .4 down from yesterday at 188.0. My lost for August is only .2. I am aiming for 185 by Monday though I know it is unrealistic since I have had cheddar popcorn, and a few teddy grahams. It's still early in the day so I hope I can salvage the rest of it some how :)

I had a snacky day today, so as usual I'm expecting tomorrow a higher number in the morning. My body is doing some weird stuff. In July TOM was only her for two days. August I had 3 spotty days, then this morning cramps in the early a.m. and spotting. I look really bloated so we shall see what my body does tomorrow.

Dani don't know how long you were on Holiday but 3lbs isn't bad at all. It may just be water weight so it will be gone quickly :) I'm hoping the same for me. :)

I'm going to make cabbage soup between tonight and tomorrow and hope that helps also like it did before. I just don't think I will be doing the all fruit day this time.

I'm thinking of trying out the Walking Away the Pounds exercise videos, anyone here familiar with that? If so, what did you think? I've read some positive stuff about it but don't think I'm ready for anything too intense (but even WATP gets you sweating, I've read).

fairandfree, I did WATP tapes for a bit. They do get you sweating, no doubt but they also get to be boring to me and some days I think because I did get bored I didn't sweat. or maybe because I wasn't into it really I didn't sweat. I will say that my husband and I would walk 3 miles in 48 to 52 minutes on the track which sometimes seemed like it took forever and with Leslie it seems to go really quickly. :)

fairandfree she starts out slow then she picks it up and I always go back to walking before she does because does knee lifts and after awhile on some tapes I get uncomfortable when she does it too long. I have one that came with a band and something else I can't remember, it's packed away some where. Those are a little more intense. Didn't do that for long :D

Sam Congrats on the .7 down :high: you got me by .3 :yay: YOU :) TOM is kicking my behind I'll tell you, but we are gonna git'er done as Coondocks use to say :hug:

TOM has truly made his appearance. I saw a few lower numbers on the scale this morning but only 187.6 and 187.8 kept appearing so I chose the higher. I have cramps out of this world ... I hope they subside a little because I have to go to work the rest of this week. :)

Well today was ok. Very active and I thought I'd be able to sneak out for lunch. Na-uh !! :dunno: was soooooooo busy I didn't get home until 5pm and hadn't eaten a thing :( My lord ! So had 3 crabsticks, 3 mini beetroots and a glass of wine. Teehee ! Feeling no pain, and have a lovely fish pie to look forward to (make it with cauliflower mash, cod, shrimp and scallops) It is delicious and very low in calories, carbs and fat. Yummy !!
Tomorrow will be interesting for sure- could guarantee a jump up on the scale due to not eating enough. Think could be a rough nights sleep as the parents will be livid that there is no permanent teacher (I do the Learning support for the 200 Anglophone children we have, but have been drafted in as ther is qiuite literally no-one else) Oh well. Positiivity it is.
Rennie- Lets absolutely get 'er done. Aiming for the 170's by mid october :)

fairandfree I love pumpkin :drool: I made some oat bran muffins yesterday, we only had one egg so they are a little gummy but don't taste bad. I thought about adding pumpkin and I wish I had. So when these are done I will try it again but with two eggs :D Enjoy your cheesecake :)

fairandfree I added brown sugar since the recipe called for it but it was only half of a cup. I also added flaxseed which it didn't call for. You know now that I think about it a little vanilla may have enhanced the flavor with the cinnamon. With the pumpkin I would definitely add some nutmeg and vanilla :)

The cheesecake was so good! I had only one slice. I think next time we may try adding some vanilla, that sounds like it would be lovely.

fairandfree glad it turned out well :) You know it amazes me how that little spoon of vanilla can enhance the flavor of foods. I add it to the kids pancakes, that or honey and they love it. :) Hope you got some rest :hug:

gossamer that is usually me problem also. It's evenings around 7ish that I get all snacky. I am pretty good during the work week most times but the weekends sitting on the sofa I just think about what I can put in my mouth that is quick. I use to keep grapes around (with a 32oz glass of water) for that but now I eat too many when I get them and don't have them when I need them :dizzy:

Sam .7 isn't bad :hug: I know that's not what you would like but it's better than me today for sure :) and with a little more rest and a trip to the bathroom it'll be gone for sure. We'll have a better weigh in tomorrow for sure :)

Hey Carma YES you do and YES you can!! :cheer: ... I'm hoping September will be my month to get it right and start that great downward trend. I so would love to get into the new decade with Sam :crossed: I like having someone to follow/keep up with. It seems to keep me a little more focused :)

... my day started off with a text telling me not to come into work until later not good that takes 3 hours off my days and 15 hours less per week. Not good at all. But I'm praying for greater so I know this too shall pass. Then like Sam I got on the scale at 6:15 this morning to an up of 1.2lbs weighing in at 189 even. Too close to the 190's gotta pull it back in for sure. I've only had coffee so far so once I get my little one on the bus I'll make some eggs and something hopefully there is some bacon in there. Gotta keep the carbs down :crossed:

Hi everyone! I am new. My weight loss goal this month is really rather ambitious, I would like to lose close to nine pounds this month and be at 200 lbs on October 1st when my husband leaves the country for eight months. I have lost 24 pounds in the last nine weeks so hypothetically it's doable, but I'm also past the rapid weight loss stage, and unsure what my long term rate will be. So if I don't make my goal I will be happy with coming close, but I really really want to make my goal!!!

down .4 today to 188.6. I have a really loose tooth at the bottom front of my mouth it was giving me a lot of pain last evening but not so much this morning. I don't have dental insurance and every place I have checked you either need to be there early or there is some lottery of how you are seen. Just thought I'd share that. Thank goodness I am back to 233 today! This TOM was killing me! Its amazing how just a few extra pounds, even if it's just water retention can make you feel so blah. Now that I am over the worst of it I can't wait to see my scale move on down into the 220's. That will be such a huge milestone for me! I also decided once I hit onelanders I am going to join the gym. I have been doing a little exercise around the house but at that point I think I want to up the intensity, and work on toning up a little more! :strong:

I love seeing all the awesome progress of everyone here! The inspiration is such a huge part of my success so far! :D

The workout was fine. Thanks for asking. I don't really like to exercise, but at least if I'm on the exercise bike for some of it I can multi-task. :)

Julie ~ I agree about the blahs/water retention associated with TOM. It is terrible that us women have to deal with this stuff for half the month. I look forward to menopause!!! I always feel better when I exercise/lift weights. I don't enjoy it, but I like that strong feeling after. :D

Okay, today was my first official weigh-in since coming back. I wasn't looking forward to knowing it, but the damage is 13.1 lbs put back on since mid-June at 242.6 lbs. Ouch. The 230s are always my hardest, and now I'm going to have to do them all over again. :headache: But, I'm back at it, which is all that matters now. Will be updating my ticker and signature today to reflect my new weight, and I'm hoping that will be extra motivation to get this summer weight back off. I have set my goal for this month to be 235 lbs by month's end, which is a little less than 8 lbs, but I figured it's best to be more realistic than my usual "lose 10 lbs a month" goal this time around since I'm getting a bit of a late start and that my birthday is on Friday, and I know I will be indulging a little. Time to face the music!

fairandfree: Thank you! I will have to let you know how they come out, since my husband has insisted on making them for me this year instead of buying a cake. He's being extra sweet this year! :)

gossamer: Nice drop! Also, nights are so much worse for me, too. If I stay up too late or watch movies late at night, I am 100x more likely to falter or have to battle my cravings the whole time. I'm trying to drink more water towards the end of the day, so I feel fuller. Hoping it helps, lol.

I fell off the wagon :( I also accidentally deleted my journal. I'm really bummed about that. I had meant to save as for september but saved over instead :(( So I don't know how much I lost in august.

I should be down 5 pounds or more really but I have gained 3. I have a bunch of excuses but now.. they just don't fly. I have a lot of cleaning out to do of this junk in my body.

+2 pounds again today. Sad it takes me weeks to lose two pounds but so easy to gain them. I ate too much pasta last night. I am up at least 5 pounds this week. My weigh in is tomorrow

love, No he never says anything about my weight. It's me but it's also insanely hard for me to lose weight.. though for some reason I had been doing a good job lately. I had bad reflux yesterday and drank some baking soda. That stuff is so gross. I think all my allergies.. my body just literally doesn't react to food like a normal person does. I do goo gle type work.

Over the past few days I have hit some milestones that have really kept me motivated. First this was an awesome NSV, every Friday at work we can wear jeans and last week I had to go and buy new ones. Well I went to work wearing my new form fitting size 16 and just about everyone was like OMG you look amazing, one girl was saying I knew you had lost some weight but I had no idea you lost so much, and another told me I was looking like a super model LOL, I wouldn't say that but it made me feel great! Another thing that is pretty cool is about 3 other woman have told me they are starting to lose weight after seeing the progress I am making and that I have been there inspiration! Wow I would have never imagined I would be anyone's weight loss inspiration.

On Saturday, I hit my second mini goal and am officially half way to my overall goal, 55 lbs gone feels great! :D

Last big deal of the past few days is I have made it into the 220's ( weighed in at 229 this morning) for the first time since maybe 8th grade or Freshman year, it's been so long I can't remember for sure but in any event it's been almost 20 years! :dizzy:

Boy oh boy I just can't believe the progress I have made so far! I look great, feel great and love that I have been able to motivate others to become healthy too. I love that this has been all me, no special diets, pills or specific plan to follow. I have just been doing my best to make what are healthy choices and throw in some exercise and after seeing results I have stuck with it! I finally found what is working for me and it really does feel like a lifestyle change and not just a diet!

Thank you to all the wonderful woman & men here who have motivated me, lord knows I still have a long way to go to hit my goal but love I am able to share my journey here!:hug:

Okay, so I went a little crazy on my birthday on Friday, and it took all weekend to recover from the bloat...lol. I woke up yesterday to 244.0 on the scale - OUCH! But, today, I was back down to 241.8, so it's looking like the overindulgence damage is starting to work it's way back down. This is going to set me back a little for my overall goal for September, but I will stay optimistic. Already started exercising again, and that's going to help!

And my top teeth are already shifting and look quite awful so I'm actually afraid to have this tooth pulled and not be able to get something to put in it's place because I fear those teeth shifting also. :( Exercise is exercise and at least you're getting on your bike more than I can say for me. I don't like exercise either but once I'd get started when I didn't mind and it actually wasn't bad :lol: just in my head. :) I just need that push (or at this point) that kick ;) Wow 3-4 cups of coffee a day ... is it regular 8oz cups or the travel size cups? I drink one travel size cup a day. I love coffee but if I drink too much my stomach hurts really bad then I get sleepy :shrug: weird :)

invisagirl do you eat the Dreamfields pasta? I hear it's supposed to be better. I've had it a few times and I haven't paid attention to the difference. Though when I make it, I only make enough for me so I can't go over my serving size and I fix the regular for my family. My issue when I eat pasta is the garlic bread/rolls. I can't stop at one (I'm thinking I should just tell myself NO and not have any) though easier said then done :) When I need to take the baking soda I just put a little on my tongue, I'd think drinking it may cause bloat, which I definitely don't need :D. That's great that your hubby never says anything about your weight (mine either) just me. He does now tell me because of my diabetes that I shouldn't eat certain things and though I know he's right it still sends my mind steaming (silly right) :)

So excited. I weighed myself after exercising today and saw 211 lbs on the scale. That would make 9 lbs lost in this month alone. I know it'll go up to around 212 or 213 as soon as I have dinner (evening time is when I generally weigh the lowest in the day) but seeing myself so close to 10 lbs lost is getting me excited. I think I'll do backflips when I get that (not literal backflips). I've never made a concentrated effort and lost that before :p

Well I'm all caught up and hopefully I can get on here like I need to. I am up about 3lbs from the beginning of the month. I haven't been eating OP until this week. Everytime I say I'm going to do it I don't and temptation just takes it's toll on me. My body is obviously going through it's changes right now and I am not handling it well. TOM has been interesting the last 3 months, I'm having hot flashes and I have had a few night sweats though not as bad as in the past. My hope is that TOM is about to say farewell to me forever :D :crossed: I was told by a co-worker that I look like I am losing weight. I said nope I've gained a few pounds but like I said to Sam ... I know that I too need to do some measuring. I know my bras aren't fitting properly I need to either get new ones or do some sewing (they're too loose). However my belly is a big as ever (nothing has changed there). I haven't been sleeping well. Each day I wake up as if I haven't slept at all. I told my husband I think it's the mattress. We really need to treat ourselves to a new bed, it's old. My fasting blood sugars are still really high. I need to make an appointment to have myself re-assessed but I first need to eat properly for about two weeks to see if I can get them down on my own.

I need to send Ona and Joy a PM to check on them. It's mid month almost and it's not like them to not check in at all. Kukkie looking for you also :)

Rennie, great to see you! I have been wondering about you. I hope you are able to say goodbye to TOM and get some relief soon. I look forward to that day myself! I was probably drink 18-20 ounces of coffee a day minimum. I ran out of Stevia last week and had lots of left over Splenda so I decided it was dumb to keep buying the Stevia. I have to admit that I like Stevia much better and am not enjoying my coffee as much so I'm thinking about quitting completely when my half and half runs out...my coffee is pretty expensive so it would be nice to save that expense, too.

Everyone is really motivated or doing well!

I'm in the weird stage where I am sick of eating the same thing.

Searching, I've been reading on my phone but it takes so long to reply that way, at least to me it does and by the time I get home I am pooped. I've been getting off a half hour later and it really does make a difference in the time I get home. I only have about 2.5 hours before it's time to go to bed :(.

I tried Stevia I didn't like it. It had an after taste that I just couldn't get use to and I didn't know anyone to give it to so I threw a 100 pack box minus about 5 in the garbage.

I know what you mean on eating the same thing that's how I feel and often fall off the wagon because of it. But we'll get this weight off :)

I had a good weigh in this morning 188.8 and fbs was 205 not great but lower than it's been. I am drinking tea this morning because my husband I plan to have our first just us day in a very long time. We have a gift card for Olive Garden so we are hoping to use that and trust me I don't plan to over do it because I know that too much pasta will make me feel miserable. There's also a $1.50 movie here and since we haven't seen a movie together (in a theater) in about three years we're gonna do that. (on a budget here, can you tell? :D) I'd like to take a nice walk after the Olive Garden not sure where to do it. I'll have to google some places before my hubby gets home from work. Well off I go ...

Well we had a nice date day together and my weight stayed the same this morning. My fbs was higher, it was actually the same as it was at 11pm last night. Today has been pretty good day no complaints. We're having homemade peppered steak for dinner. The family's eating white rice and I'm having brown rice. I need to write my meals down for the week as I'm thinking this is the best way for me to stay on point. It's been awhile since I have actually planned eventough I know it works I still don't do it. Just like the children :D

4 more lbs (a lot of fluctuating throughout the week though so am surprised but pleased, I am doing this so well!), and on another thread I realized my digital scale must not do odd decimal points, it's always .2 or .8 or something like that. Progress, woo!

Still not resting well and it's making me so bleggggh. Trying to figure something out, to help me sleep at night, without turning to meds (I am on more than just a budget so it's out of the question for me). I'll keep on trying things out. :3

hey everyone! So I have a big meeting with my boss tomorrow. I work part time at the med center here in houston, and I want to sell myself to her and tell her why I'd be a great fit for full-time employment. I am NERVOUS. I'd like to be considered so I'm going to tell her exactly why she should hire me. this is a big deal for me because I'm very uncomfortable in formal situations such as these.

Well, I ate over my calories a little last night, and I'm paying for it today. Weigh-in was back up to 236.8, which makes only a 1.8 lb loss for the whole week. I'm still grateful there is a loss, but I hope I make more progress next week!

Hey all! I've been pretty much checked-out this month. Not really on plan or tracking or posting very much on 3FC. But I have still weighed every day, which I think has kept me from going totally 100% off plan. And I've still half-assed at doing the http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/chicks-up-challenge/287024-lazyman-marathon-september.html challenge. Ugh, 15 miles left in only 10 more days (including today)! I know I can knock out that distance in that time frame. I just hate that I've pushed it and probably won't be going over 26.2 at all.

Anyhow, the idea is that I'll get back on plan today. 10 days to end this month lighter than I started it (up 1.4 right now)!

I'm still here, not doing very well this month at all. I can't seem to get my eating in control no matter what I do. It's crazy the more I do the less control I have. I'm 3lbs heavier then where I started this month. Not good :(

shake - protein powder, Greek yogurt, coffee grounds - (because I like my coffee on the way to work)

1.5 cups - cabbage soup
~cabbage, scallions, white onion (because it was in the fridge already sliced) tomato, green pepper, celery, vegatable and chicken broth

I may add a slice or two of whole wheat cinnamon bread/toast with tea

p.m.
Atkins shake
cucumbers with Greek dressing
tea

Ok ladies tell me what I'm lacking so I can add it. I do want to do this for at least 2 to 3 days though just for discipline. Please wish me well, thanks :)

Happy Sunday, Good Day to ALL

I started my new eating today but it isn't going with out additions. I have about 15 unsalted Premium Rounds left and I will probably finish them tody (I have only ate 2 so far). I need to add something to the soup, it's pretty bland. My shake wasn't as flavorful as it could have been so I may need to add to it also.

Weigh in this morning down .6 but my fbs was higher than usual. I think it could be the cough medicine or the cough drops, idk.

my weight was down 1.2lbs this morning and my fbs though high wasn't as high as yesterday. I didn't eat anymore of the crackers yay me. I did however eat some M&M's shared with the kids and my husband (a small bag) and I also ate a few of my husbands chips (wanted the salt)

Lunch today is cabbage soup, cucumbers with a Greek vinaigrette dressing and maybe some cottage cheese with peaches (if I can stomach them) or a Greek yogurt with peaches.

Good afternoon, ladies!

Started my day off this morning with the sight of 225 on my digital scale! Feel so good about that. :D I feel so much in control of my future, and I'm sure a lot of you know just what I mean! Then I had myself a tasty smoothie made with strawberries, pineapples, and some greek yogurt. The fruit was a leftover from when we had a meal out yesterday (Cracker Barrels, which has some light options on their menu now), and I finally found something to do with my greek yogurt, heh! I do like the yoplait blended greek yogurt though, that stuff is super tasty.

Cabbage soup actually sounds nice, Rennie! For dinner tonight I think we'll be having some of my boyfriend's mother's homemade potato soup, so good!

So relieved this morning! I'd gone up even more yesterday to 237-even, and I was starting to get broody about it. I looked over my week and realized I was going to bed really late and not drinking enough water. Just one night of getting proper sleep, and the whoosh fairy came to visit me with a little whoosh back down to 235.6...yay! So, I'm feeling a little bit more settled again. Perhaps bloat and insomnia were just playing mean tricks on me the past few days. Meanies...lol.

This also marks being over halfway done losing the 13 lbs I'd gained back this summer...:carrot:

fairandfree, nice weigh in :high: the cabbage soups not bad but a co-worker made it and hers is a lot better. She added a can of Progresso Tomato Basil and seasoned with salt and pepper. I used a vegetable broth and a low sodium chicken broth and seasoned with pepper and basil. I don't add salt to anything. I absolutely love potato soup. My Mom makes an excellent potato soup. I told her I have found the lazy way of doing it, I buy a can or two add onion, milk, butter and pepper. It's not healthy at all, but oh so delicious. :drool:

ophelia nice whoosh :high: It's been years since I've had what I would call a whoosh :) I so hope it keeps working :crossed: see my lunch for tomorrow below. I hope I'm not sabatoging myself :shrug:

Well first let me say if I can keep this going I may just have some sort of loss for September. :) I did well today thanks to my cold I don't feel like eating and I really need to drink at least two more bottles of water.

I have my meals planned out for tomorrow. I'm gonna stretch things during lunch. I will have greenbeans with onion cooked in low sodium chicken broth, a corn muffin made with Jiffy mix, a tbsp of flaxseed added, 2% milk, egg (I scooped it out of the mixing bowl), Dreamfields pasta (I mixed a 1/2c of pasta in with the Lipton Creamy Chicken side and picked my pasta out before it thickened) and a baked barbecue chicken thigh with sweet agave bourbon sauce by Patti LaBelle. I made enough for two meals so I will get to see how this lunch fairs with me.

I think the potato soup that she makes is pretty healthy (as healthy as it can be I suppose?). Potatoes, one cup of 2% milk, a small amount of light sour cream, with water making up the majority of the 'broth'. Oh and she cooks green onions right into it. So little milk might make it seem weak, and it doesn't get real creamy but it still develops a nice thickness to it and it is just sooo lovely. And sure, I top it with some WW brand cheese all chopped up and a tbsp of bacon bits and some more fresh green onions. And I... I am making myself hungry, and it's too late to eat! I'll probably make other people hungry again too, lol.

Your lunch tomorrow sounds lovely, Rennie! I have some ideas for mine but I'll sort that out tomorrow. It'll probably involve left over soup though, and a salad.

And on the topic of not eating, lol, thank you! :high:

I drank my shake this morning and I am trying to drink my tea but I just don't want anything else. This cold is really taking a toll on me.

Well my eating plan paid off yesterday. I am down 1.6 to 187 even. Only a pound more to lose so that I can at least have a .2 loss for September. If this cold keeps up I will do fine. It usually takes me awhile to lose a cold and my baby has a cold so it doesn't help. I have my lunch packed but like I said above I'm really not in the mood to eat though I know I have to or I'll feel even worse. Maybe I should just take the cabbage soup today for the broth instead of trying to eat real solids. idk ... I'll figure it out.

thanks fairandfree :). I just started using it again this week. I log my meals the day before or two days before if I have enough left overs so it's helping, I believe.

Got up this morning to another lb down so happy but my calories haven't been the 1300 that MFP is saying I should eat but I'm satisfied so that's what matters to me. I'm keeping my protein up and my carbs down though not what I call low carb. I'm just eating my lunch now. I went in earlier today, my stomach starting bothering me around 9:30-10. So I ate 5 Ritz type crackers that were given to me to help settle my stomach (NSV- I was given a roll of crackers and I took out only 5 then sealed the package back) :yay: me.

I need to change my ticker ;)

I found out why my stomach was bothering me yesterday. I started spotting just before church last night. TOM is trying to come through for the second time this month. Not feeling too well this morning, I don't have an appetite, not good. I did get to see 185.8 on the scale this morning down only .2 but it's still 185 finally. I'm happy to finally see that number. Just gotta keep it moving.

Ugh, I just got over my TOM last week! Sorry it's coming to visit you again already Rennie. :| I did not actually sleep any last night but I think the interview went stunningly and am very hopeful! My boyfriend couldn't believe how awake and full of energy I seemed! Of course then I got home and was trying to push to 5 or 6 before I went to sleep (because boyfriend took the day off to make sure I got to interview and I didn't want him to sit around bored all afternoon while I slept) but I crashed at 2 which means... poor thing had to sit around and entertain himself while I snoozed.. then I just recently got up to shower and take allergy medicine but still feel full from lunch so once I browse site a bit, it's back to bed for me!

185 is a great number though! You can and WILL keep moving it. :high: I know you can!

Nice numbers there, Aka! And MMMM for cereal with almond milk, how wonderful it is. :D My cereal of choice though is the grape nut flakes (sometimes I add this almond and pomegranate mix to it which is nice).

Well I may have messed up. This second TOM has me craving and I have boys that cook so I ate one fried wingette and nibbled on a few others, I also had 4 of the longest fries with ketchup from my sons plate, not good. The sodium is crazy I know. I did some recalculating on MFP as I remembered other stuff I ate. I was over calories by 80 but surprisingly still under on sodium. I really want to see what the scale will read.

Well i have been terrible at checking in as work has been crazy plus a week of vacation in New Orleans and my mom visiting.
However as of wednesday I was sitting at 263. I don't know that I will make it to 258 for the end of the month but we will see in a couple of days. Hope everyone else is doing better.

Aside from not eating at all and doing a total water fast I don't think that is going to happen for me since I can't kick my butt in gear to exercise. I ran a dumb experiment and stalled my weight loss. I know that my TDEE is around 2800 a day. I was eating between 1600-1800 a day and dropping 3lbs a week. Then I decided to get 'smart' and drop to 1200. NOPE. Back up to 1600-1800 a day. Today's total is 818 calories, so I have to cram in 800-1000 calories for dinner and dessert. And I was planning on grilled pork salad for dinner. No, I don't have any full fat dressings. :p I did buy some baguette rolls though, so guess they are on my menu tonight.

The strange thing about the restriction is how quickly you can get used to it. Before I was like "HOW WILL I LIVE?" and now I am like "EAT MORE? WUT? HOW?". @_@
