I'm just at a loss really. I know I need to and should want to lose weight but I don't really care about healthy eating that much right now. :/ but I know I need to make a change and I will regret it if I don't

It is hard to change eating habbits at first especially if it's been quite a while - this is the struggle I am currently going through at the moment. If you are still after some weightloss buddies feel free to message me :) :)

Hey, we should all be buddies! How about we post daily our struggles and a triumph and we hold each other accountable to a daily posting?

Today: A triumph was not snacking throughout the day needlessly
a struggle was finding time to exercise so it didn't happen

Today, I had some great whole wheat French toast,
Easy, quick, low cal ( 2 Slices of whole wheat toast, 2
Eggs or egg whites) it was filling and kept me full for awhile, which is great since I have class all day today. How is everyone doing?

Triumph for today: Going to the gym despite not wanting to, eating healthy all day, going back to work did a lot to help that.
Struggle: I am a horrible runner still. I get horrible side splints after 3 minutes of running, but I need to keep trying because if I give up, I'll kick myself.

On the plus side, my workout ended on it's own with Britney Spears' Stronger. That song always makes me feel like such a better person. Silly I know but I love that song!

GoldengirlAmy- I understand how you feel! I do the walk/run method, that might help? But hey, I'm no expert!

I'm going to try and start couch to 5k. I say try because it went from being my favorite fall weather (max of low 70's during the day) to a high of 90 today!
I may hold off until it cools down on Monday to begin but I want to do something today... Maybe it's time to go find my Jillian micheals videos. How is everyone doing today?

Triumph For Today: Definitely going to the gym even though I was SO sore all day. Once the weights started moving I didn't even realize I was sore. We'll see what tomorrow brings, but I just felt good!

Struggle: I'm still struggling with desserts. I love chocolate, and my husband loves dessert but I need to have more self control to say no, I'll have some fruit instead, or a glass of chocolate milk!

Dessert is an issue I have also. I always want something sweet after we eat. I started making some fruit smoothies. That has helped a lot.

I just joined this forum today after completely binging this week because of going out for friend's and family birthdays. I knew I had to put a stop to it after I went to the bathroom yesterday at work to eat a massive slice of carrot cake! Oy! I could use a buddy as well. Looking to reach a mini goal of losing 25 pounds in 7 weeks in time for going to a wedding in Ireland.

I am too looking for a buddy either we chat and talk about what we did for the day or week, and to keep each other on track.

So far I lost 5 lbs... start 256/251/150 :carrot:
