Thanks Mel!

Can you give me an idea of everything involved in leading the team? I may be able to take it over for you. The school year should be well underway by the time the next challenge starts, so as long as it isn't too much of a time commitment I should be okay. Plus I still have over 50 pounds to go and the competition keeps me motivated!

Yahoo, Superheroteacher!

Great job Novus and Dahlia, too!

I'm excited to be up there with you. I've decided to take a scale break after this challenge - my plan is to weigh just once a month for a while and see if it makes me less crazy.

Here's hoping for a great last week, team!

Oh my- how can it be Friday? This week flew by, work is kicking my butt- new boss is here, and actually I'm glad it's Friday.
Hope everyone has had a good week . My eating has been less than perfect. My youngest turned 9 earlier this week so I made her an earth cakeMel's earth cake (http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NkSnKKTnAfk/Ugr0gElGQVI/AAAAAAAAIY4/nZnrhDEjp64/s1600/IMG_1972.jpg)
It turned out pretty good, so I can say I've had more than one slice.

Superhero-I'll PM you re leader- thanks!

Okay- finishing my dog walk, then time to head to work.

And I've posted my final weigh-in for the challenge. Can't believe it's over! I didn't do as well I hoped I would, but I'm 17 pounds lighter than I was when the challenge started so...yay!

Good luck to everyone crossing the finishing line! :cheer2:

Well, not where I wanted to be when this challenge finished, but still an overall loss of 7.5 lbs so, I'll take it! Hope to see you all in the next challenge!

I can't believe so many weeks have gone by, but looking at it as one day at a time. I've managed to stay pretty steady with my eating plan and exercise. Looking forward to continuing this progress. Wishing everyone well!!!:cheer::cheer::cheer:

Nice job, red chicks! Congrats Dahlia for the week and Superheroteacher for the challenge!

Now my scale gets put away til the 1st. Then my plan is to only weigh monthly for a while. I think I need this scale break for my mental health. :dizzy: I'll still be around for the in between chat, and will probably do the next challenge, but I need to forget about the scale for now.

I had a great NSV yesterday - on a whim I signed up for a 5k race. It started 1/2 mile from my house, and I was going to run, anyhow. I thought it started at the bottom of a big hill in the village and ended going back down the hill. When I got there I learned that we started at the TOP of the hill. I had a new best time - 38:05! I didn't finish last in my age group, and I finished ahead of a couple 27 year old girls - yahoo!!!

Riddy- WTG on the 5K!! Shows all that work with your trainer is paying off.
I completely agree with the scale too. I may have to follow your smart plan of taking a scale break too.
