Here's how it works:

Post your starting weight (sw) and your goal weight (gw).
Come back anytime to update with your current weight (cw).
The first person to reach their 5 pound goal is the winner!
That person then starts a new thread for the next 5 pound challenge!

mountain mama I was so proud of myself yesterday. There were 12 mini cupcakes in the package and I ate 2.. and they are tiny! I had to do well since I only needed a little bit to win the challenge.:D

I'm starting to slow down after a few days of good losses. Only down .2 from yesterday.

Oh its a good thing I did not post yesterday as I lost 3 lbs of water last night and would be in a big lead ... not cheating... so starting today!

I can not explain what is going on with my weight- I starting working out and am gaining- maybe holding on to water or something? In doing my best to not get disgruntled. I'm eating perfectly on plan and working my butt off, and chugging water! I just keep telling myself that im making the right choices and the results will eventually appear!

I'm eating perfectly on plan and working my butt off, and chugging water! I just keep telling myself that im making the right choices and the results will eventually appear!

I stopped losing when I started working out too. I decided to pause the workouts for now and focus on nutrition, at least until I'm below 200. I feel like once I'm below 200 I can focus on fitness and the mental battle with the scale won't get too me so much. For now the only exercise I'm doing is physical therapy, getting strong for future workouts.

S.h.t- thanks for the support- im going to stick with my plan And remind myself that the scale isn't everything! ( I don't know if I will ever really believe that! Haha) I think this is my first plateau- I will get through it! Or else! Lol

Sorry Sue. Have you called the doctor? Maybe they can give you something for the pain, swelling, etc.

wannaskipandlaugh, I'm sorry you are in pain. I know how it can get you down. Yesterday was not a good day for me. I have arthritis and fibromyalgia, have knee pain and feet pain and various body aches and pain almost daily, and yesterday my chest (above left breast) hurt off and on all day. Pain Sucks! I hope you feel better soon!

Only Believe Oh gosh.. I hope you too feel better!... My pain must be a lymph node... the tip of my collarbone right by my throat is twice as big as the other tip... and I feel a tendon rubbing... Just hoping its inflamation... Doing the Ibu:) I am so sorry for you and all that pain you deal with! I admire how you deal with it and still stay so positive a person ( {{hug}} ) to you painfree! :)

Thank you all (superteach!!:) )... I do feel better... No temperature today (from the inflamation) and the swelling does seem to be going down.. So I am hoping it was just a local virus that I am now getting rid of!... I do feel better.. Had the 1st ever person since I started losing weight this year, tell me I look like I have lost weight... Horay!!! Almost 60 lbs down and it is finally noticeable! :)

I am not sure what the scale is doing. I walked last night and did some push ups, crunches, etc.), and got up early this morning to walk, but the scale has betrayed me. lol
