Has anyone used KT Tape (or kinesiology tape)?

My physical therapist taped my shoulder yesterday and I'm not sure if the tape is helping the pain or if the ultrasound therapy helped - I just wanted to hear others' experiences.

I haven't used the stuff myself, but I've seen it on a lot of my patients. They come to see me for pain and are also getting physical therapy, which is where they get the tapes. It works great for a lot of people. This is legit, if done by someone who knows what they are doing. I know that PTs are trained correctly, I don't know about other professionals. I would love to be trained how to apply the stuff. I think it makes a real difference in many injuries.
