OK OK here's my post...well...maybe I shouldn't post...then at least I know our friend Sandy will come out and post....because I didn't post after starting a new thread! Gotta watch the posting police...heck...we haven't seen the posting police...lets all make a posting violation to drag her hiney back out here to post with us!! Oh Sandy...come out come out wherever you are!!

Well, as you can see...we made it to Rhode Island! We just got back from taking my father and John out to breakfast for father's day...I am stuffed to the gills!! Throw me in the bay and let me swim some of this gluttony off!!

We are going to my sister's house this afternoon. She is doing a father's day barbeque. She is making bourbon ribs. They were soaking in the bourbon when I talked to her this morning. Umm umm...sounds sooo good.

Well I am going to go check my lottery ticket to see if we don't have to return to work next week. Keep your fingers crossed but don't hold your breath! LOL I wish I would win so I could fly you all out together somewhere so we could have a reunion!!

Hi everybody! :wave: Kinda looks like most of you are out with the significant others celebrating Father's Day. I hope you are all having an absolutely wonderful time.

Me, I'm here by myself. The baby is still up at school. I'll be making the trek to pick his stuff up on Friday. Taking mom again so we can stop and visit her brother. He is deteriorating so. :(

Honey and #1 son have gone to MIS to the Nascar race. Left this morning at 6:00. I went back to bed. It is a glorious day for the race. The sun is shining, not horribly hot and there's a nice breeze. Nothing could be finer.

It seems like the race here is always on Father's Day, ok, usually. We actually have another Nascar race in August, but the June one is the one honey always goes to. He's only missed one in like 9 years. I figure it's something honey likes to do and since it falls on Father's Day, what better way for him to spend his day? (besides, then I get the day to myself :yes: )

I slept in this morning til about 10:30. Read the ads in the paper. Had some breakfast. Now I have to take a run to my FIL's to wish him a happy Father's Day and then the rest of the day is MINE!!! See, this isn't sooooo bad!!!!

My food has been absolutely horrible lately. We went to a graduation party yesterday and I ate the 'nibbles' that were on the table like I haven't eatten in a year. I looked honey square in the eye and said "this has got to STOP!" I told him Monday morning was a new beginning. I am going to catch this damn bandwagon that keeps running by me (****, running over me is more like it!) and I'm jumping back on. There's still time to get 30#'s off by Labor Day and that's my goal.

I weighed in on Monday and I was up another 3.5 taking me back to what I was at the beginning of January. So here I am, 6 months later with nothing to show for it. I'm sick of it! Time to get a grip!!!!

The good thing is, I think I've eatten all the goodies there were in the house, so now I won't have any more temptations and I just won't buy anymore. The #1 son said the other day HE was trying to get things under control. The 'baby' will be home and God knows HE is going to need some help. So if I put my mind to cooking nightly instead of fast fooding it, we should all be alot better off. The nice thing about the guys is that if I tell them to not eat stuff in front of me, they will hide it. Guess I'm making them into closet eaters, but hey, I have to succeed, this is ridiculous!!

Well, now that I have bored you all to death with my rantings, I think I'll go run to Dad-in-law's and then come home and try to get something done for the day.

BTW, I was a 'showgirl' this weekend and we saw Hollywood Homicide. It is NO theatrical award winner, but if you want some fun and a few good laughs, it was entertaining.

Well, I've made a decision. I have an upcoming trip that I'm really trying to save for, so I had originally decided that I would hold off on going back to WW till I get back. But, the trip is about a month away and I'm not giving myself permission to wait that long. So, as of tomorrow. I am going back to WW!

I'm slowing down the wagon girls....anyone want to hop on?

Hi gang,

Okay, now I'm really behind on what everybody is doing. At this point, I'm just going to have to go forward and try to do better this week.

Yesterday, I spent almost all day with MIL. She moved her furniture in on Thursday and had a list of things she needed for her new apartment. Her sons just are not good shoppers. We hit several stores looking for white pants, purple sheets, hamper, etc. You'd think the white pants would be easy. Nope! Everything is cotton or capris or cotton capris. Then she won't buy unless its on sale. We had chinese for lunch. I think this is the first time she and I have sat down to have lunch just the two of us - in six years. :o She wore me out!

Today was church and lunch at Macaroni Grill. :ink: but yummy!

This week, I will have to be more than good with food and exercise my butt off if I want a decent WI. I just don't want to be up. Must focus! Must focus! Must focus!

Okay, I've updated my photo album on Picture Trail. I'm really liking that and will probably pay for a year. What fun! I've added some of my horse, Ginger.


This is too funny. I'm watching an old Danielle Steele movie on Lifetime - Daddy. The troubled son in the movie is Ben Affleck!

Its the start of a new week and a chance to get a grip. Let's not forget our tools - planning, journal, water, exercise, just say no! I know there are several who are struggling with this journey and with issues in their lives. Just know there are lots of people to be there for you and the power of prayer is awesome. Just don't give up or feel that you are alone.

Okay, here I sit ready to start another week. This past week hasn't been good and neither have I. My back is bothering me again and I've had to take pills. They make me sleep a lot and most of the time I've felt out of it. Haven't really followed any plan and still hooked on soda. Just been pretty blue about it...(another lovely side affect of the pills - depression).

Sidenote: Ever felt better about being depressed if you have a reason? Like it's the TOM or something else? Whenever I get really down I feel better if I can find an outside reason....always means that it will end soon. Know what I mean?

Anyway. Last night as I was laying in bed beating myself up I remembered something my uncle said, "Deb, for some people the concept of proper thought leads to proper action works. For us, and anyone with an addictive personality it's the opposite. Thinking about it isn't going to get it done. If you think about a diet start at that moment, TAKE ACTION, don't think about it or you'll never get there." So true. Or, in the immortal words of Yoda, "Try? There is no try only do"....or something like that.

So, I"m making a committment, regardless of the medication I'm on, to switch to water this week and to actually cook decent meals. Going to the store tonight to stock up.

If anyone has any suggestions on snacks and anything I can preplan that would be great. Sometimes I get knocked on my butt for a few days when I need the pills would be easier if I had something premade.

Hmmm.....just a few notes while I'm thinking about it.

Thinthinker: Talked to Mom about that recipe but she was unsure. Was going to ask her WW leader...>I'll test it before I post it.

Whomever, cut off their acrylic nails. Had them myself and I know the damage they can do to your real nails when you take them off. Next time soak them in acetone, can use acetone based nail polish remover, and they will soften. Takes a while but easier on the nail.

Skinny Cows - Don't know if you know about these but it's a ice cream company. One of their fudgicles (really good) is only 1 pt on WW.

That's about it for now. Hope you all have a good week. I intend to drink enough water to float a boat, or my kidneys, whichever comes first.

Happy Fathers Day to all of you lovies. LOL, can anyone tell me what day isn't fathers day? In our house it seems like dad gets the best of everyday? Oh well, a moms life.

Food has not been great and it's self damage, and I was totaly aware of what I was doing, I lost those 4.5 lbs last week and I swear I probably put them back on this week. But, don't pity me, cause I did it myself, but, I'm gonna dust my *** off and climb back on with you girls. Nothing but H2o for me this coming week. And some nice low fat meals would be good on the plan too.

Tina: I'm here, I have not strayed to far off the track, I'm always reading. I'm still a new one on the board here, but I have noticed that it's mostly the new ones that are posting and keeping the thread alive. A lot of the ones that posted when I first came are gone? But there are always newbies coming and thats always nice to get a new twist on how things are done. I have made very good friends with Mary(old poster) and Amanda(new poster) and they are wonderful woman. Everyone cares about everyone on this thread thats one of the things I like about it. We are all so different yet so much the same. Hope I have made you feel better about it, we all love ya here you know. We don't always agree, but thats what a thread is all about right? Getting everyones input? And we like your input too.....so please continue to post.

Amanda: Where are you????? Come post some more chicky pooh. How was the walk this a.m.? Did you get hubby the breakfast?

Sandy glad to see I dragged your hiney out today to post! LOL I need the posting police to kick my A$$ and give me an eating violation so I can pay the price and get back on that wagon. Keep it rolling slow when you all come by to pick me up....I will hop on as long as you wait till next monday...I have a few things to tidy up while on vacation like enjoying myself!! I am going to definately watch what I eat...fish, salads etc lots of water. I brought a case of bottle water with me...but for sure I will be back on track and back to weight watchers on monday night...right along with TINA!

Tina glad you decided to go back to WW instead of waiting...just think it will be that much less you are dragging around in lbs come vacation time and how much better you will feel...and if you come back with a gain so what...you enjoyed yourself, you had a good time and you go forward!! Its not failing...its just a break...and we all need a break from time to time in everything that we do on a regular basis...thats why we go on vacation NO???

OK I gotta get my boy ready for bed. I am leaving for Cape Cod tomorrow around noon time so I will check back in again in the morning.

I'm around just been busy. I start working with my hubby today. :strong: It is going to be interesting. I know I can do it, but this first week is going to be rough. I may not be posting much this week but know that I'm thinking of you and trying to keep up with the posts.

I have a very ambitious goal now, I want to hit goal weight by my next birthday. I know I can do it, it just means staying on track. I think after a few weeks of this job with hubby I'm going to try Body for Life. :strong: I need to strengthen my muscles up and that will do it. :yes:

Food has been decent, so has exercise. Today has been a week since I started walking and changing my schedule and I'm still on track. I missed walking a couple of days, and I'm just going for a short one today. I don't know how much energy this job will take so I figure I better conserve. :p I'm going to walk with the thirteen year old neighbor today. I find that when I walk in the morn it sets my day on the right track but if I don't walk I'm just sluggish all day.

Anyway have to get ready to get walking. Hope everyone is doing well and staying OP.

How is my favorite group of ladies this morning ?? :D

I have been stuck in **** for the last month or so... but I am coming out it !!!
I went to visit my parents on FAthers Day.... and I have decided that life is too short to waste a single moment of wallowing in pity, depression, doubt, FEAR or any other negative emotion.

I am making that conscious DECISION to grab LIFE by the horns and ride to the end. :D :D

My first step is to say good morning to my friends here this morning. I am going to DRINK MY WATER and do something PRODUCTIVE each day.
I am going to spend some time here each day... but not all day.
I am replacing "stinkin thinkin" with "POSITIVE ATTITUDE".

In weight loss as well as ALL OF LIFE.... "ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING !!"
I am going to go find me a scale to weigh on this morning... and I am going to take 5 lbs off of this body !!! When I get that 5 lbs off... then I will take the next 5 lbs. I am NOT going to look at the longgggg road ahead. I am focusing on TODAY !!! And I am going to enjoy my TODAYS.
No matter how bad my days have been... they are 10 times better than my parents. I have sooooo much to be GRATEFUL for.
I am not wasting another minute being ungrateful.

I want to WELCOME Grasshopper/Deb to our group. These are a GREAT bunch of ladies.
I love all the rest of you here... but I am getting busy LIVING LIFE.

I had to come and post my GOOD NEWS !!!!!!
This is my 3rd day back on program. Like I had said before... I was not pigging out by any means.. but I felt I should have been stricter in the past month or two.
Well.... I weighed this morning. I had to drive to the next town to find a scale that could weigh me... but I went so I could have a starting point again.

To my surprise.... I had lost 8lbs since the last time I weighed several months ago. :D
I am soooooooo HAPPY !!!! :D :D

I knew my pants were very loose... but I thought I had accidently gotten my larger pants back out without realizing it. I did not know that these were my smaller pants getting looser. :D
I knew I was still substituting grilled veggies for potatoes and I was still NOT eatting bread. And I was still bringing food home when we went out to eat.
I just assumed I had to be more strict to lose weight.
I can't tell you how many times I was disappointed in the past for not losing when I would weigh.

I think not weighing for several months prevented me from letting those numbers rule my life.
I ate wiser.... but not perfect.
Eight pounds in several months is no record breaking speed....I wanted to lose 3-4 lbs a week...not 3-4 lbs a month.....
but it averages about one pound a week. I am soooo happy.
I have now lost 41 lbs from my top weight !!!!!! :cp: :cp:

What is sooo nice about the whole thing is....
I was not dieting... I was just making those wiser choices.
Substituting grilled veggies for potatoes. Drinking water instead of diet pop. Giving my bread to my husband when we eat out. Reducing my carbs.
I feel like that is the "real me" now. I am not doing it because I am dieting... I am doing it because that is what I do now. Does that make sense ???
Boy does it feel GOOD. :D

I hope I keep this appreciation. I hope I don't start getting greedy and wanting to lose this weight NOW. I hope I just keep making wiser choices and choosing smaller portions.
Thanks for listening. I have to get busy now. We are moving and I have a LOT of cleaning, packing and every day chores to do.

Way to go with the weight loss. I think it's mostly about changing the way we eat. You changed those things and stuck to them and still lost when you thought you wernt doing so well. Keep up the good work and the positive attitude.

Amanda: I think your walking routine will help more than you know. And starting to work with hubby and watching what you eat....girl....you will melt away.

Well...that wagon stopped in my neck of the woods and I climbed on board. Lo and behold..if it isn't Miss 2cute driving the wagon herself! I'm so glad to see you back. Congrats on 8 lbs, that's great!

I have the beginnings of a plan and I'm going to keep track of food/water/exercise in my 3fc journal. Amanda, it's funny that you mention "Body For Life," I've been wanting to try the program for a long time...I'm heading off to the library today to see if they have a copy. I'd like to hit my goal by my next birthday too, which gives me just over a year to do it. I know it's possible, right, Sara?
BTW, what kind of work are you doing with your husband?

Michelle, have a wonderful vacation. Hope the weather cooperates!

Tina...I'm glad you decided not to hold off on WW til your trip. Too much damage can be done that month! Even if you know you will not be stellar while on the trip...giving yourself permission to be "bad" makes it less damaging. I think because we don't then have the "guilt eating" on top of the over indulgences. You know, the "I don't give a :censored: what I eat now, since I've already blown it" attitude! Mind control...it's all about that.

Deb...welcome to our humble group. Good luck in your efforts. I know that just by giving up soda, my dh has lost about 10 lbs. Hmmmm....snacks? When I'm strict about low carbing, a handful of peanuts, celery with peanut butter or cream cheese, slice a string cheese and place each slice on about 10 turkey pepperoni, heat in the microwave...:T. I'll add more as I think of them.

HEY! Anyone else have any snack ideas???? Let's hear 'em!

Barb, I know, only too well, about losing my carefully crafted posts! How come it's never the quickie ones, only the ones that take over an hour and have a message for everyone?

I am glad to see you back here and posting...and moving forward.
After pigging out all weekend while Bri was here, I got right back on my program this morning--I can assess the damage when I do my weigh in Wednesday and also take that from there.

The weekend was great. Brian's flight came in on time Friday night, but it had taken nearly an hour and a half to get through all the security checks. Good thing we weren't in any hurry, but better safe then sorry in that matter :) Now mind you this guy is only 5'8 and 180 pounds, but the minute he spied me, he comes over, gives me this bear hug, then proceeds to PICK ME UP OFF THE FLOOR! :yikes: It's a wonder the guy didn't give himself a hernia.

We mostly stayed in Friday evening; I figured Bri was pretty tuckered out from the flight and going through security checks at airports, so my friends Siobhan and Marie came by with Marie's dh and we had an impromptu cookout. We were up yakking till 4 AM, before Bri sacked out; he looked so darn cute snoozing away on the couch, I didn't have the heart to wake him to go back to his hotel. :angel:

Saturday, we went to the Arts Festival, mostly to people watch and take in the exhibits, then Saturday night, we went out to eat and then to a karaoke place. Sweet and a cutie pie he may be, Brian cannot sing worth a hill of beans!:lol: BUT...it's the thought that counts.:D

Yesterday, Brian checked out of his hotel, then we stayed in at my place and watched the race; then went to the pizza joint up the street for a bite before heading back to the airport again. Once again, the security check thing before he could get on the plane.

And yes...for anyone that is curious, we did a lot of kissing too:D

He hasn't been gone a day, and I already miss him :(

As for snacks... substitute the peanuts with cashews or macadamia nuts. Lower in carbs.
If I am "truly" hungry... I snack on something with some fat content... like 10 green olives or broccolli with DIP. The fat soothes hunger and olives are good fat.
I love hard boiled eggs... often I just eat the whites only.
I even open a can of tuna sometimes.
I don't snack much... I will have to think of this one.
There are tons of new low carb products for chips and such... but I am trying to stay away from those when possible. I use them for "special" occasions when everyone is snacking.

Here I was, sitting in my living room....pondering what in the world I should eat, when I hear a rumbling.....a tumbling....a traveling soldier if you will, with the beckoning call of a thousand angels.....

Imagine my surprise, when I look out the window and at the helm of the OP wagon was the most beautiful lady I've seen in awhile, my good old friend 2cute! The first thing I did was give her a huge hug and ask her what the **** took so long? She slung me over her shoulder in the back and lo and behold if I didn't see my old buddies Kat and Michelle! Well, after lots of crying, hand-holding and sharing of a rice cake, we headed on down the road and picked up our good buddy Mary. She was a little resistant....even threatened to smack us all with a copy of "War and Peace", but we managed to smuggle her up on the back of the wagon and now we're heading around to pick up everybody else. That means you too Sandy and Thin! (and no peanut butter cups, cheez-its or yogurt covered raisins are allowed!) :nono:

You gals better get ready.....it's gonna be a bumpy ride, but we're going to make it!! :cb:

WW went a little better than expected actually. I was only up 1 pound for this past week's indiscretions! That is a good thing!

My new week/new you program has started today. I'm terribly tired, usually get that way when I'm PMSing. Hey, it beats getting too Bi^c%y, doesn't it? I just take naps. :o

I had one of those Nouriche smoothie things this morning for breakfast (yes, I said breakfast) with an apple. Those are not the best possible choices I found out once I got out my WW slide. Geez 5 points! Won't be buying those again.

Then for lunch I had a left over piece of grilled fish and a small chunk of left over mashed potatoes from the other night at the steakhouse.

I am planning to grill Mahi Mahi for dinner. I splurged and bought that at my supermarket job today. I love Mahi out, now let's see if I can not screw it up at home. :lol:

I'm climbing on the back of that wagon you all got going around. You may have to get together and do a collective pull as I didn't realize how tough it is to stop eatting $hit cold turkey after you've been being bad for so long!!!

Yesterday was fun. I shipped the guys off and I lazed around and then went shopping. I thought of our old friend Malia from Hawaii. I have a long porch, that instead of running parallel to the street it runs parallel to my garage. I've never really liked to sit out on the porch because of it mostly facing my neighbors garage. But honey bought me this bench for Mother's Day and I've planted perenials in the flower bed that runs along the length of the porch and it's beginning to fill in nicely. There's a trellis on one of the porch posts that's actually right in front of where the bench is and I have a purple Clematis climbing that so I don't see much of the neighbor's anymore. I had planted a pot of vines and red petunias to sit at the end of the bench and got some beautiful red begonias in hanging baskets to put up along the edge along with my two windchimes. So yesterday I went out and got 3 plant stands of different heights and headed out to Home Depot to see what they had in hanging pots that I could take the hangers off of and sit on the stands at the edge of the narrow end of the porch where the front step is. Now I have my very own Secret Garden, hence the reference to Malia (in case you all were wondering if I'd ever get around to that! :o ) It is nice to go and sit out there and read. Max loves it until I keep yelling at him to stay on the porch and have to chase him. Guess I'll have to keep the kitty treats and the squirt bottle handy and get him back in the groove of summers on the porch.

Terri: I loved the pictures. Ginger is beautiful. I remember on the other thread you writing when you got her. I'm glad you finally put a picture on. I love horses. A friend of mine in high school had an apoloosa and and she would take me out to the stable where she boarded her and she had permission for me to ride an old retired race horse. She taught me to groom, etc. I was great fun.

Deb: I was a Pepsi-holic when I started WW. I found I had to just go cold turkey with it. One day I woke up and said today is the day. I had horrible headaches for 3 weeks from the withdrawal, but I stuck with it. After about 6 months or so, I would order a Diet Coke with a meal in a restaurant and was able to drink it, but trying to sub the real thing for the diet just didn't work for me until I was totally off all that sugar. As for snacks, it depends on whether you're liking salty or sweet. I'll put some pudding recipes up for you. When I'm doing well, I always have these available in the fridge already portioned out into 1 cup servings.

Sandy: Ok, girlfriend, you're on. You go for the 21, I'll go for the 30. We'll see who gets closest.

Michelle: How nice of you to check in while you're on vacation. I hope you're having a wonderful time and getting in some R&R while you're gone.

Barb: That posting thing has happened to me more times than I can count. And like Kat said, it's always on the ones that have taken an hour to put together.

Ok, ladies. I need to run and take back a little table I bought yesterday for my front porch. It's too tall and flimsy to serve the purpose I was looking for, putting my cold drink on it so I won't have to bend over! :lol: After all, what's the sense of enjoying an afternoon in a secret garden if you have to keep bending over to reach your lemonade??? Oh, Speaking of Lemonade. Minute Maid (a Coke product) puts out a light lemonade that is very good.

Pumpkin Mousse

2 boxes of sugar free vanilla pudding
2 cups Fat Free (skim) milk
1 3/4 cups of canned pumpkin
3/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 - 8 oz. container of fat free Cool Whip

Beat the pudding, milk, canned pumpkin and spice together. Fold in the Cool Whip.
Chill for a couple of hours.

Makes 6 – 1 cup servings 1 point per serving

You can use this in a Reduced Fat Graham Cracker Crust and serve as a pie.
You will have to add 2 points per 1/8 of the pie.

Orange Creamsicle

1 small package sugar free, fat free orange jello
1 small package sugar free, fat free vanilla pudding
1 cup boiling water
8oz. Fat free Cool Whip
1 small can Mandarin oranges, drained (reserve juice)

Add 1 cup boiling water to orange jello. Stir until dissolved. Add water to reserved juice to make 1 cup. Add to jello. Beat in pudding powder. Add mandarin oranges. Fold in Cool Whip.

Makes 4 cups. 1 cup = 1 point

In weight loss as well as ALL OF LIFE.... ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING !!" because this is inspiration. I for sure will keep this in mind.

As for my exercise this is what I have done, for the week of 6/9-6/15, I walked 9.25 miles @ 219 minutes total and 61 minutes of riding my stationary bike. This is good, at least I think so. I can now make a goal of walking 10 miles a week and total of 300 minutes of exercise (bike, walk, video).
Now for my WOE thats another project, as I am trying to get my diabetes under control. And the weight? well, we will see tomorrow when I weigh-in at my TOPS group. Even if it's not what I would want, I at least know I am working on it.

Well today was good and bad. So of course my first thought was to come here and tell all of you about it. :p First off the job I was doing with hubby was loading tree limbs on to a truck and hauling them to the burn pile. The bad news is the man who hired him wasn't that pleased with my work. (Although he was very kind about it.) The good news is he is pleased with my hubby. So I did a half a day and then hauled my tired butt home. No reason to pay childcare when I don't have to. I'm really not all that upset about it. With the pending move if this had worked out we wouldn't have had any free time at all. :no: So this frees me up to do more of the things we need to do to get ready to move. We also figured out that if my hubby works with another guy for 6 10hr. shifts he will actually bring home more money than we would have brought together minus childcare costs. So that is the route we plan to go.

WI is tomorrow and at least I burned some extra calories today. I even still started my day with a walk. I'm hoping for a good loss this week. :yes: I'm going to try keeping up the walking and the schedule change and then as soon as possible I'm going to start doing Body for Life. :strong: I hope the pounds just roll away. I may not be helping hubby with his business this year, but I will be next year. ;)

Well, I need to go pick up my daughter. They were bowling and I didn't want to ruin her fun by picking her up in the middle of it. I hope to see you ladies again tonight. If I'm not to tired.

LOL. Sorry, that thought just crossed my mind after I read all the posts. Seems like a lot of us are climbing aboard.

Today is a new day. Went out and bought all healthy stuff last night....now I just need Hugh Jackman to come over and cook it for me while wearing nothing but faded levi's. Hey, a girl can dream can't she?!

Thanks for the recipes Thinthinker. Still working on the popcorn but Mom doesn't remember it. Might just have to break out the popcorn and see if I can figure it out. Worse that can happen is my house will smell like burnt popcorn....maybe that will be an appetite suppressant? LOL...if it is I'll definately post!

Well, I had great intentions of coming here tonight and writing a wonderful, huge post to everyone. Except now its almost 8:30 and my mind is tired. And I can't think of what I wanted to say to each of you! :o

I've had a really good food day. Now, I have to keep it up for the week so I'm not mad on Saturday morning. I did some yardwork and then 20 minutes on the airdyne when I first got home tonight. I need to get going soon to take the dog for his walk. He is getting so obnoxious lately about when he's ready for HIS walk. Sheesh, no rest for the wicked. But also good because I think its showing up in the scale.

Ever since I've read Tina's post about the wagon, I have the theme song to "Rawhide" running through my head. Except that I can't quite remember it. Jump on board though ladies! Yeeeahaaw! (The bad thing is I vaguely remember the bicycle version of it that ends with ..... man my buns are swollen!)

Here's what I can remember that I wanted to say:

2cute - Fabulous!!!! That is so great that you've been doing the right behaviors without it feeling negative about it. "Diets" are always negative. I'm so excited for you to see that success in the scale. Staying off the scale can be good as long as you focus on doing healthy behaviors consistently which you have. Maybe you have found what keeps you focused and positive. Keep it up!!! :dancer:

Thin - Your garden sounds so relaxing. I've been plotting where I'm going to put a purple clematis next year. Those are so gorgeous. I planted roses this year and I have my first roses this week! Do you happen to have WW recipes for frozen pies - something like key lime pudding and cool whip that is frozen??? Or anything like that? Doesn't have to be key lime; just that I remember that's one of the versions.

Lori - I admit, I was curious about how your weekend went with Brian. Not about the kissing part! :o But how you too got along. I'm so happy for you. Where is he from? Good luck to you both!

I have been thinking about this post all weekend; I have really been wrestling with this.

The wagon sounds fun, however, I will not be on it with you all.

This is regarding a post from Thurs or Fri night last week, about "oldies" and "newbies". I really thought I had found a place here. I guess I was wrong.

I have enjoyed meeting all of you ladies. I'll try to read the thread from time to time.
