LOL.....okay you asked!

I'm having GLOP.........a recipe that was passed around at BCB. GLOP stands for Get Lots Of Protein, with a resemblance to cat yak. It IS very good if you can get past the looks of it! It has become a fast favorite and for good reason.

To make glop:

1# lean ground turkey or very lean ground beef
1 cup uncooked rice
24 oz. FF cottage cheese
26 oz. salsa

You would, of course, brown the hamburger and cook the rice. Then you would combine all ingredients.

1/2 cup serving = 2 points (check your own labels to make sure of your points)

Serving suggestions: I like to eat this one of two ways...use 1/4 cup on a 1 point tortilla, I usually have 4 of these and I'm STUFFED. Or you could eat this with some baked tortilla chips. I prefer my GLOP heated, although there are many that will eat it cold. I've heard of some people stuffing tomatoes or green peppers with GLOP.

Don't fear the GLOP.....

Thanks, I hadn't heard of that one. I'm going to try it.

Sounds like something very different - I will give that a try, thanks.
I could also take some to work for lunch (like to have pre-made stuff in the fridge)

I ended up having fast-fry steak with onions & mushrooms, cauliflower & zuccini nuked with some becel & parmaseasn cheese on top after it is cooked - fast way to do fresh veggies.

Any other ideas would be most appreciated. Thanks again.

Don't forget to check the recipes here. I've gotten a lot of good ones. Especially a thread under Miscellaneous Recipes - it's title is More WW Crockpot Recipes - if you print it out is comes to 20 pages - being a full time working mom with 3 full time kids and two that are part time - plus they are in sports - I do a lot of crockpotting!
