Default tea vs water

Hi ladies,

So I make a valiant effort to drink a ton of water during the day but as we move into summer, my office is literally FREEZING. So cold that I'm sitting here right now in a sweater and a dress and my legs and hands are like bricks.

So drinking a cold glass of water sounds like the worst idea ever right now. I usually go outside for a walk on lunch to get the blood flowing but still, it's miserable. Can I substitute hot black tea for water instead? Or will it not hydrate me adequately? Thanks!

Black tea is better than coffee, but still has a lot of caffeine. Herbal tea would be perfect, if you have any that you like!

Just to be clear, I don't think black tea is bad to drink for weight loss at all- it just might not be best as the ONLY thing, know what I mean? Ugh, sorry it's so cold in there!

Be careful about caffeine consumption. Medifast has pretty stringent guidelines for the amount of caffeine you can have in a day.
